All these denominations that interpret the Bible apply aesegeses, as opposed to exegeses. In aesegeses, the biblical scholars concoct their own notions and doctrines and search for texts to support their beliefs. In exegeses, objective scholars seek meanings in the Bible by reference to contexts and authorial intent. They seek the truth! Sadly, every denomination is interested in aesegeses, instead of exegeses, and will strive to find support for whatever doctrine they espouse without regard to the context or the author’s intent. That is why it is possible to find so many meanings in the Bible to support so many denominations. People strive to find whatever they want to find in the Bible, regardless of whether or not what they want to find is actually there. And as Avram showed, Mathew was kingpin of Biblical aesegeses. He read Jesus into the Old Testament and made false claims that the book prophesied about him. Like all these other synoptic gospel writers, Mathew was making up stuff.

Anyway, if he did, that does not change the fact that this "organization" called christianity and their book is all about the cultures, traditions, politics, lifestyle, government, kings, heroes, prophets,, people, stories etc of the jews and exclusively meant for the jews. There is not a single kojo, kwame, kweku, kwabena, kwesi in the bible, there is no mention of damba, adae, homowo, tedudu, eguadoto, kundum, ngmayem festivals anywhere in the bible. So christianity and it's "holy" book has got nothing to do with you a Ghanaian. Don't you have your own? The jews lost nearly all their wars and battles, everytime they lost, they claim that they had worshipped FOREIGN Gods so THEIR God has turned his back on them and delivered them into the hands of their enemies. The Pastor is using fallacious method of Biblical Interpretation which is called, Eisegesis. It means interpreting the Bible out of context. The Preacher is forcing his own understanding on the text. However the scholarly way to interpreting the Biblical Text is the Exegesis Method. It compels the Exegete to stay with the chosen Text to do justice to the Bible. Mr. Avram is doing a superb job by staying with the Biblical Text.

Let's be honest. Tanakh is the original source. Avraham made sense but failed to punch the pastor with killer blows today. Don't know who chooses the topics but I think the pastor is comfortable with this topic. He only made claims n explained with clever words on this one. David never said the nailed his hands and his feet in the original hebrew text. The original text says "like a lion, they were on my hands and feet". Pastors will come, Pastors will go. Avraham is not Spiritual, but very powerful in analysing scriptures. I am 65yrs, l have met Pastors after Pastors, no body has come to Ghana or Africa, who has boldly roused to challenge the Bible the way Avraham is doing right now. King David spoke about crucifixion in Psalm 22, but it's not about Jesus, he was talking about himself because he is the king who will come again as an Anointed king. With all due respect, Jesus was not a king but ordinary Jewish magician who was an impostor not the messiah and was killed

The messiah who will come is a king, not a Pastor nor a prophet. The messiah is not a healer or a person who will be killed, resurrected and ascended and come again as king. All what Pastor Sarkodie is Preaching is about prophet Isaiah is and his sufferings in the book of Issiah.

One of the most deceptive things written in the New Testament was written by the author of Matthew when he took a small section of Isaiah chapter 7 and attempted to show the birth of Jesus as the fulfillment of a prophecy. The author of Matthew was trying to retrofit Jesus into a prophecy about a child who was to be born and called the name Immanuel. This tactic is called manufacturing a prophecy fulfillment and the author of Matthew was a master at doing it. He was a master of deception. One of the problems with this is that the prophecy given by Isaiah was already fulfilled hundreds of years before Jesus ever arrived on earth.The birth and naming of the child Immanuel was to be a sign for king Ahaz that God was with his people who were about to be invaded by two rival kingdoms. Wonderful exegesis Avraham!! Again, well done!! The pastor is clueless. Show us the prophesy of your birth of Jesus in the OT is the premise.. Isaiah 53 is truly about Isaiah.
