Actually, McDonalds began selling Chicken McNuggets nationwide in 1983. I worked at a local McDonalds then and new equipment was brought in to produce. Was instant hit though.

Back in the day pre 2000 the round nuggets were white meat and the odd shaped nuggets were dark meat. I did prefer the dark meat nuggets as they had more flavor and were not as dry as the white meat nuggets. Also my first job was working at a McDonalds and we got to make ourselves a meal per shift. I would take some nuggets the odd shaped ones and cook them a bit longer then normal. They were a bit darker but were way more crispy and I put them on a double cheese burger with some bbq sauce, add a side of fries and wash it down with a orange hi c. prefect lunch for a 15 year old, got me thru my shift. Also my manger would make him self a full breakfast for most of his lunches and I worked night shift so its always been possible to cook breakfast stuff in the PM just for what ever reason McDonalds really does not want to do that for reasons I never understood.

Chicken Paste? Skin included for taste?? My son ate these Nuggets when he was about 2 years old (1982). Because he didn’t like hamburger. And I ate them, too for years. Haven’t touched a Mickey D’s nugget in years and never will. I go to places where they use real chicken just like it would be used in your home - Chick-Fil-A, Zaxby’s, etc. I know it’s real chicken at these places!

I.remember getting that bucket of Kentucky Fried Chicken once I outgrew my mom's baking chicken with corn-flake crumbs. Didn't work for me, as it tasted the same as those Banquet Frozen Fried Chicken boxes that are in The markets. Now I come up to chicken.Mc-whatever. Maybe McDonald's was the first producer of the product, however, there are a vast number of both fast-food restaurants.& Frozen-food companies that produce the same product. I'll fry my own chicken rather than eat dinosaur-shaped nuggets made from... whatever. 🦃

Then you know nothing of chemical and preservatives. All preservatives are salt base. Any chemical or perservative will not do you harm. Why? Cause it’s harmless and also you don’t eat enough to have any biological affect on you.
