Spare a thought for the poor guy at 3:40, while all his buddies are lining up to take that fun slide down to freedom, he lies fallen. He came all that way but never made it to the finish line. We will NEVER forget.

I live in the US and I love digestives amongst other chocolate biscuits. I am incredibly grateful that there is a store near me that sells products imported from the UK and they’re delicious 😋

I thought it would make more sense to have them go through like a flowing chocolate curtain, like a shower. I don't know how to describe it. That way you don't need to flip them at all.

@@dumi_thicc Not really. I mean, they have to recoup and rework all the chocolate that isn't under s biscuit. After the minimal loss due to an amount coating the insides of pills and stuff, the chocolate that did not land on a biscuit could also be recouped and reworked. I'm guessing their decision to use the flip method was because it gives a more even coating.

I saw this factory when I was going to Stockport, the smell was amazing, it felt like I was at home eating digestives with tea, I could taste the biscuits just from the amazing smell, terrific, yummy! 😋

My grandmother loved these and you couldn't get them in my country. The last time I bought them for her she passed away before I could come back home. Now every time I eat them myself I am reminded of her. It's a strange relationship to have with a tea time treat.

Oh yeah cos you can run a huge site like that completely by computer 🙄🙄🙄 cleaning, breakdowns, over seeing, safety, transporting, mixing, box sorting, quality assurance, maintenance, you do realise one tiny over sight or issue could equate to the loss of hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of product ?

This is a good video. Sometimes these “how it’s made” videos contain unrelated clips that are unnecessary, disruptive, and irritating. It’s good that this video is strictly about the manufacturing process without those stupid cuts.

Chiara Tsuji *it totally doesn’t. When they were invented over a hundred years ago they were marketed as being beneficial, but they have no health benefits. Digestive or otherwise, they’re just a sweet biscuit and you are stupid*

I didnt even know you could get Caramel digestives.... Also I live near a McVities Factory, sometimes I'd the wind blows in the right direction you can here it. Especially when you get out the car at the shop next to it.

*Mavities's and Fox's* chocolate digestive biscuits were very expensive in the 90s here in Singapore. Now, there are dirt cheap at value shops only a dollar when it's near expiry date.
