I walked into the kitchen as was totally shocked to see my Mexican girlfriend curling her eye lashes with a spoon! I had never seen this before in my life but apparently it's a very common technique for Mexican women.

Wife is from Guadalajara and I remember the first time she pulled a spoon out of her purse to curl her eyelashes. That was 13 yrs ago and it still makes me smile when she does it to this day. 😂

Mine don't even curl a bit with the spoon 😭😭😭,even when I use eyelash curler it works only if I pres it really hard....I just have straight stubborn lashes I guess

My mom born in the 1920’s used a silver spoon to curl her eye lashes until she passed in 2002 she was raised in Mission district of San Francisco CA.

I just tried it. The heat from the finger helps curl the lash. I was going to get a heated eye lash curler but this works great. ✅️

Omg i havent seen this since growing up in the 60's and my older sisters did this who was taught by my mom.i dont think it is so much a mexican thing as we are ukrainian,but a poor thing couldnt afford eyelash curlers

As someone who tends to be on the sweaty side and has dry and acne prone skin, I would really love to try cerave's new sunscreen. Ps for those who are bothered by the glow or dew or greasiness a sunscreen gives you, assuming you still like said sunscreen besides the glow, try applying a slightly mattifying powder in the area you tend to shine more

It’s silly. It’s a sure way to loose eyelashes over time and doesn’t even hold the curl or even work. To do this, your lashes have to be long enough and if they are long, then they are already nice enough without the need to curl. Eyelash curler is so cheap and accessible. There’s no reason for this.

May oh puedes guardar solo una cuchara para tus pestañas, y así ya no usan esa cuchara para comer y los dos estan de acuerdo 👍 🙃 sobre laska comiendo en un plato que usan para comer personas... y tu no usas las cucharas que se usan para comer. Se que lo de laska comiendo no se debería de hacer 😜 pero así ya los dos están conformes 😏
