As a former IHOPKC-er the issue with Mike's personality and the 40's and up crowd, was he seemed like such a nice guy: honest, sincere, etc. And really now looking back, also INCREDIBLY good at spinning a tale. He was able to sprinkle in enough truth in the Kool-Aid, that you didn't taste the cyanide...

Same here. I suppose us giving him money depended on him being nice, sincere, and the whole phony bs he and the others snowed us with. The leadership sure did talk a good game about accountability.

All Mike was trying too do was trying too help a generation find their purposes in God. And now look at you. you are very lost friends. You need Jesus to shake you up and set you youngsters straight. I had the opposite experience of being pulled in. I heard him claim to be humble, but he was making w8ild claims about himself, so I never believed he was really humble. The man smelled like a rat.
