Honestly I think 3.8 being the Human Limit is highly unlikely. I'm not really good at bridging so I'm guessing my opinion doesn't matter much. However, after being in the Geometry Dash community for 7 years, the "Human Limit" that has been theorized for hardest levels, has been broken, and broken, and broken again, and again, and again, at least 30 times by now. So it's widely accepted in the community that the Human Limit can't really be theorized well enough as of now. And we see that in tons of other games as well, like Portal 2 and the infamous "Neurotoxin Sabotage" chamber (Human Limit broken multiple times because we thought we reached the fastest cycle for cutting down the neurotoxin tubes, but we kept reaching faster cycles). Back to Minecraft, the same concept can most likely be applied. Your other video talking about how 3.9 was surely the human limit as well, being broken today, really is leading me to thinking this time will not be the last the Human Limit will be surpassed. Bridging is kind of new as well, 3 years ago almost no one could even breezily or god bridge. IMO, there is plenty of room for improvement, and strategies to be discovered; Minecraft is not solved. Neither is bridging. (Note that when I say "plenty", I am *not* saying that for example one day we could get under 3 seconds, though I don't think it's impossible. I am saying that there is plenty of effort and thoughts still to be put into that unsolved question.) Though on an ending note, **from what we currently know** about Minecraft's mechanics and inner workings, it looks like we won't get any faster than 3.8 anytime soon. However, we likely haven't even tried every possible combination of known strategies. We're not safe from at one point, someone connecting the dots just the right way to make 3.7X possible, as it already was demonstrated multiple times through breaking bridging's theorized Human Limit. I'm a believer :)
@suziu3906
@suziu3906 2 жыл бұрын
ngl ur point kinda make sense but the fastest strategies might have already been found and have been applied to the wr,its might just the matter of time but at one moment the human limit will be reached,if you trying to proof the human limit is not 3.8-3.85 you should atleast explain some strategies that could be better.
@suziu3906
@suziu3906 2 жыл бұрын
but like you said,the human limit will certainly be beaten if someone could master the TAS momentum,but its almost impossible like adromedan bridging
@Sloimay
@Sloimay 2 жыл бұрын
@@suziu3906 I am not trying to prove that the Human Limit is not 3.8X. I am however, trying to prove that it's more than *likely* that the human limit hasn't been reached based on examples of the past and other games. I am trying to prove the likelihood (so, the chance) of the Human Limit not being reached anytime soon, rather than the *fact* that it hasn't been reached yet. We have a difference between chance and fact. So no, I don't need to talk about some strategies that could be better! :o However, it's a very interesting subject IMO :D One side note, I must say that in my original comment, the first line is "I genuinely don't think 3.8 is the Human Limit", I think it wasn't well worded and surely lead you to think that I wanted to prove that 3.8 wasn't the Human Limit, my bad! I modified it!

it is actually 3.8 which is humanly possible, since it is impossible to get perfect momentum with chained 4b flat AND/OR 4b speeds. The game Minecraft itself also offers way too less tps to actually bridge with the maximum possible time (such as andromeda bridging)

i have 2 theories that weren’t mentioned in this video firstly if you can no clutch with slab (not yet proved possible but i’d say there’s a good chance it can be done) then you can double head hitter. this would almost definitely require a 45 strafe despite that only saving 1 pixel secondly, 4b flat 5 speed triple clutch could undoubtedly be achieved. a headhitter could also be added to this (yes i’m talking about no slab) with a 45 strafe to the left. the 45 strafe wouldn’t be used just to save another pixel of time but to get a much easier angle for the headhitter overall, i think both of these strategies can save a tick when fully optimised
@WiIIem
@WiIIem 2 жыл бұрын
with your triple clutch point, triple clutch is not possible. You can get to the block were the third block would be placed, but you arent in range of the island for long enough to place the three blocks of the clutch. You could possibly get there with a 5b flat or a 4b speed, but those will take a while for anyone to learn. As for the point about no clutch with slab, its not possible either, which has been proved by tas players. Again, the player would have to do a 5b flat or a 4b speed to do that. Good points though!

When fully optimized with a 45 strafe and 1.1 5b, you could theoretically get 3.75 but if somehow, someway you find a way to get a change in gain mm keystrokes, good enough to do at least 1 4b speeds, something like dc for 5 speeds is easy. I saw a strat used by helix that allowed him to increase the speed of a speed Telly by placing 3-4 blocks in a flat line then placing a block on top while sprinting and looking forward to increase his momentum and theoretically allow for a 4+1 jump that could allow for a single clutch with the strat I mentioned if you optimize a 45 strafe and time it enough

People saying that they don't think 3.8 is the limit and say we wouldn't have thought about speed telly 3 yrs ago. We knew about speed telly long ago, the problem is to discover new strategies and time saving tricks and not only apply them into a bridging method but perfect it takes months, until a new mechanic isn't added in Minecraft that changes bridging or momentum, the record of 3.8 if even achieved, wont be broken

great video, but theres a point i disagree with. i dont think we should say for sure that nobody will get a sub 3.8 time because new strategies are being developed all the time and we never know what else can happen. in speed tellying alone, tas can get a time of 3.65 seconds, which is a huge time save and who knows, someone might be able to learn tas-like momentum! what im trying to say is that theres a small chance the current world record will never be beaten, but theres also a chance for people to get 3.8 or even lower
@moonwalkhi

At this point with the technologies and momentum saves, I don't think that it will be possible to beat 3.8. However, the bridge community has had breakthrough after breakthrough, time and time again. I do think that there will be another few techniques discovered, with the perfect run being lowered maybe even to a 3.7. However, I don't feel that this will be achieved for another year or longer, as perfectly mastering these new strategies will be hard. I'm not sure that there will even be an achievable 3.7 time. However. as we have seen in other games, TASers have been able to find new strats and things that were never thought of before. With that though, there most likely will be a 3.75 in the future. Not the near future, but somewhere we might find it.
