People are so fixated with Chet’s weight. Weight is a natural progression. Science, diet and training are of importance today, and far more advanced than yesterday. Evaluate his skills, his natural feel for the game on both ends, his footwork. Chet reminds me of those two skinny guys before him, KD and KG who were both skinny but didn’t play skinny. The 3 play with swag and toughness. They show up in big games. They are not afraid of the limelight. Chet’s upside is so high, there’s a reason why he’s ranked #1 in his class. Sierra lost because Minnehaha is a better team, and they have a better coach. They adjusted while Sierra looked lost in the 2nd half. I’ll take Chet, Suggs and that stud #10 sophomore (someone check his birth certificate) over Sierra’s 3 tho i think that lefty sophomore is their best player....at least that game. Minnehaha also has a better supporting cast. You compared Suggs to Rose. He’s better. Rose only learned how to shoot last year or the year before, Suggs is far more superior all around, he’s a legit TWO way player with a shot, he leads and makes his teammates better. He’s more like GP with a better shot. Suggs is nba ready now with that football body.

I’m rooting for Kai who has a long way to go. He needs to play with more speed (a lot more like a Tesla) hunger, and anger on both ends. Kai struggles mightily on defense with his poor footwork, understanding of weak side help, letting smaller guys drive pass him without challenge and lack of speed. We can’t compare him to Chet as I’ve seen many Pinoy vlogs have. It’s not fair to Kai as the only comparison is their height. Chet is ranked #1 in his class which will highly get him in the lottery, most likely, top five. Kai went to unranked to around 60 in his class. Chet has natural feel for the game on both ends, mad handles, quickness and deadly shot.

@@foreverjoc Nah, proper nutrition does so much more in deciding bone density and structure than genetics. It's just not conventional knowledge. Sufficient K2 and animal product consumption makes vast difference in how you develop. I'm not saying that's 100% the case here, I'm just saying it's almost safe to assume given the dreadful nutritional knowledge conventional wisdom projects. My parents sure as fuck didn't raise me eating beef liver, bone marrow, fermented dairy/vegetables, etc. Now much of that can be somewhat mediated at lower quality with the poorly absorbed synthetic vitamins that fill most kid vitamins but who knows if this kid had them. If he grew up like tons of 1st world kids do, on pizza, hot dogs, chips, and occasional vegetables and fruit, he was 100% malnourished through his youth.

Again their press was not effective at all this season against Elite teams with elite guards like Rancho Christian with Dominick Harris, Paul VI with Jeremy Roach, Long Island Lutheran with Andre Curbelo and Minnehaha with Hercy and Jalen.

There's a difference between his assumed type of cockiness, which is useful in this game, and simply being a conceited asshole, and I doubt that Chet is the latter. I've seen interviews of him, and he does hold himself pretty well and has a professional maturity about him.
