Thank you Nick and Cascade PBS for the new episodes. I'm really enjoying them and learning new things. Greenschist..... ya gotta love it!

In Vermont, much of the Green Mountains that run up the center of the state, are made of greenschist. We have all the minerals you mentioned, plus a belt of associated chlorite minerals. Perhaps some of the same forces raised the greenschist and formed our fault block mountains that are composed of it. Very interesting video.

So glad to see a series on the most northern WA mountain area... and as always Love Nick!! And LOVE the drone and camera-work, first rate and talent! WOW AGAIN Gary Paul is a field producer too. And I was just wondering if Nick was going to pay Gary a visit since this is Gary's back yard!! Pays to read the credits. I call Gary the Obi Wan of the Back Country!! Hello Gary!! Do you have a calendar out this year? Nick should create a calendar also!

Last year I enjoyed watching the Schmidt Ocean Institute explore mid ocean rift zones, thinking " with luck, and some time... BOOM! A mountain! 😂

There is some of this green stone in the cresent basalt. I found fully formed phantom quartz with epidote in this stuff out that way!

then near white chuck mountain i drove on rat trap pass and followed the white chuck river to kennedy hot springs below glacier mountain .... a while back... shuksan was said to be the most photographed mountain in the states

So conservative...sadly...too conservative here Nick! There's ample, good weather helicopter landing sites there on Mt. Shuksan, instead, however, you chose to talk about "oranges using apples" going to another green schist site...disappointing Nick. You've got competition now from other Western States, Field Geologists, Nick who are starting to one-up you... Sure you have some who regularly attend your talks, watch your videos...fossils mostly, sadly. I'm 78, so I know a blue-haired fossil when I see one Nick. If you want to stay relevant, please, get some BOLDness into your field trips. Thanks Dr. Nick.
