I didnt know they were married (or dating) and then found out immediately they were divorced (after searching both instagrams and them no longer following each other)

1000% back up the wedding planner thing. I had a wedding for under 10k with under 100 guests and the wedding planner was $2500. Absolutely helped keep me in budget, helped with the rentals and finding places that would do payment plans or had tables/tents, food options, etc. Also the stress of the day of for someone with anxiety is a lot. Having the planner being able to literally guide you from place to place and being like "You are doing this now for this amount of time" was super helpful!

This was an amazing blast from the past! When you all suddenly left Buzzfeed, I was heartbroken. For some reason, I was watching hours of Buzzfeed every day. Excited about part 2! I got married in May and it’s very interesting to compare the prices and experiences. I think what Ashly said is so important - Figure out early what your priorities are because then you don’t have to spend a ton on something you don’t care about. We had no florals but DIY’ed some bouquets from Michaels and that was it. We also did all inclusive because we had the budget and it was better for us. There are so many options out there for a variety of budgets

My husband and got married on a Monday - Columbus Day 😂. We did it because of the cost. We live on Long Island, NY and the cost of weddings by us are crazy too!
