Getting to know abt the government law institute of Kerela is so progressive am feeling sad thinking abt my state where I studied.. I to studied law in a government clge but the fee structure in my clg i.e BRM Govt law college of Assam is charging bit higher .. In this video she said for 5yrs she spent around 6-7 k our one semester admission is somewhere abt 7k , in odd n even the admsn fee r different lyk 3-5 , in last sem it was 8 .. I hope our Education Minister should make some changes in our region so that every kid may pursue their dream without thinking of fee structure... It should be minimal ..

Still, it is peanuts. IITs charge 2 -3 lacs per year per year for BTech while being a govt funded institute.

To start with you have lots to learn about the court, each of its sections, applications, filing procedure, compliances, submissions, courtcraft and so on which are not taught in the college. Of course college education makes it easy to learn all this.

@@tanvi4670 it is mandatory to give AIBE exam to practice in Indian courts. If you pass this then you’ll be able to practice in courts otherwise you are just a lawyer with law degree. Not an advocate

Being an advocate practicing at kerala hc i totally agree with her, n let me say i was paid only 5 k during my initial days, yes but there are firms which will give u 10-15k..the college fee part was also correct coz i also studied in govt law clg in kerala.. But not sure about the next year increase of 25k-35k in salary part

Not necessarily, a practicing lawyer has a low salary but corporate lawyers have an average package of 15-20 LPA which even goes up to 30-40+ based on the individual capacity

I also studied in KV , a central govt school. My economics teacher revealed his salary to us , it was 18 lpa (after tax) for teaching 11th and 12th class. He literally said that this payment is not worth his knowledge. He could clear UPSC in his young days due to sickness. He was extremely disappointed at the time of his retirement. Even I believe govt jobs are not worth the hype. Slow increments , slow growth. Stuck in a particular field, less to explore. There were many primary teachers in my school whom I never seen get promoted to TGT in my 12 years of schooling.
