Yeppa thanks was searching for this comment only my age people are just behind doctor engineer and are in a zombie line just queuing up to become so but I chose a different route all togather even though I did I took science and did pcb in 11th and 12th it didn't suit me so now planning for degree which actually makes sense and which is different and unique .

My cousin did her masters from NID Bangalore in Communication design. She is currently working as a Ui/Ux designer at SAPS LABS Banglore with the package of 20 lpa. Not only college but also your skills and smart work matters.

NID Bangalore does not offer any masters in any communication design discipline, might be another discipline.

The salary is grossly underestimated, you can easily make up-to 6 to 8 lakhs per annum depending on the firm and your college degree, communication design is a well paying field. The average salary in India according yo Google is 5.6 lakhs ....

In India it matters a lot if you are from the institute you are. NID, IIT, and bigger private institutions are preferred first. It'll take a while before the industry in India realised that skill matters than the amount of degrees you hold.

see this depends on what branch of communication design one choses, there is UI/UX design, which offers like 12-16 lpa if from top collages like iit or nid, other than that, the avg is like 6-8 lpa. Then there is product design, which offers a bit less salary than UI/UX design. Then there is animation and vfx, which max to max depends on skills and work experience, so it's evident that the starting salary will be less At last there is graphic designing, which normally too offers pretty less salary

Yet some people in my school says doctor engineer is better lol they are earning this much without btech ans mbbs and are not unemployed .

Abe bevakoof without any good qualification any one can get 16-17 thousands per month. Parents don't want their children to become engineer doctor 17k but for more

I feel really pity for all of us educated ppl... After spending 15-20 yrs of age and money in edu, most of ppl are ending up at salaries that they would get even if they were illiterate...! I start to feel like gone are the days when edu used to be important.. Now, its useless for 80 % ppl..only a handful ppl from top colleges make a descent amout.. Else panipuri wala is earning better..
