Yes true, even I am facing the same problem in my family because after doing 12th with maths they all expected me to be an engineer but when I said no I don't want it and want to do event management no one was ready at first.

And I'm sure they hired event managers for that and they weren't personally decorating the whole place. Imagine how much they would have paid the event managers

Nobody will give you crores just like that. You need to mention that you have to be a manager for that event. Only that is when there a POSSIBILITY that you will get in crores and to be an Event Manager is no joke.

There is a difference between budget and a cut as a % of budget, assuming that it runs into 10%, then to earn a crore the budget would have to be 10 crore atleast

its better you do any kind of diploma if you cannot invest that much time or money, i would suggest to go for NDIEM institute they do the proper training they will prepare you mentally physically how to do your best at the event. I have done my BBA from there and currently earning a very handsome salary from a company me to khud abhi tk sir se apni company k liye students hire krwata hu with valid degree.
