I've never seen them use a crew before, especially given that they're frequently completely alone and on their own boat so I suspect your expenses are off. However much they make, they're awesome, more power to them.

You didn’t include the video sponsorship revenue. Every video has a built in ad for one product or another. AG1, SurfShark, BetterHelp et al. They do a good job of these integration’s in general but have been called out for making some videos just feel like a huge ad. One about product testing some film gear in particular got alot of haters attention. But all in all their content is fantastic and they bust their arse to make original interesting content every week so deserve all the reward. Just another of the high caliber sailing / lifestyle creators on YT alongside SV Delos, Parlay Revival, Sailing Zatara, La Vagabond among others.

Hmm, I'm not sure I would trust these numbers. But even if it's a very rough approximation, they did just place an order for $1miilion+ luxury catamaran, so they obviously doing pretty well for themselves and deserve every penny! One of my favorite channel and one of only 5 I'm a Patreon of. Cheers to them!

you certainly can tell this video had 0 research put into it there's no way half of what he's listed as facts in here are even close to it any viewer of the channel knows this is a 2 person channel there's no crew and that anyone that's watched at least 10 videos will now they are from texas.... PURE CLICKBAIT to try and profit off of their channels success. not to mention probably copyright infringement of their IP.

As with any business, you must also allow for general expenses, in addition to the extra funding that it takes just to keep their boat 🚢 in the water. They just recently required dry docking and THOUSANDS of dollars 💵 in work and repairs to their vessel to make it seaworthy again. They are NOT making as much money as some would like to think. This may appear to be quite the comfortable income, however, there are many expenses that we fail to see 👀 by being a viewer.

I'm assuming they saw that one video right at the start of their sailing-lives where they went on their course and hired a film crew from a week (or less) so they could learn everything and not stress about their channel. Stil lthis channel could have done proper research and learn that by watching another video.

Your numbers are so far off it's ridiculous. They also have an RV Chanel, they're based out of TEXAS so no state income tax, they have no crew in the back office, they do have high expenses due to boat maintenance and harsh environment equipment damage. They also have higher than usual expenses due to Covid. You really need to do more research before creating BS content.

My prediction for a few years down the road or sooner: stock videos are going to hit the dust. Stock videos inserted into real stories, with the stock-video actors and sites having no relationship to the story, are ridiculous! This seems to have become an annoying trend. That's why I predict their days are numbered.

DISLIKE - Statistical numbers without real information. I have watched the Wynns for years, there is no camera crew, their cost of living is QUITE high, and they easily pay 10x what we pay for internet. They have to pay TONS to even share their story. I know they are not starving for cookies, but I think these numbers are VERY un-realistic and I would love to hear Jason and Nikki put this to rest. They are fairly transparent to their operational costs.

Just a casual observer, and actually, we have watched their channel since the beginning. But, as I listen to the back and forth about their income, and the folks whom are quick to point out their "opinions", about having a film crew, and which state they would file taxes in, etc. etc. I have to chuckle a bit because, if they do not have a film crew,...it actually would make this persons's figures on their income.....go higher......and if Texas has no state income tax, then.....the Wynn's income would also go higher.....so who care? I guess the only thought I have is simply, if we are going to criticize the guys numbers and research, lets at least, "do the math"! I mean those comments only push th income level higher! Whatever, good for lThe Wynn's, I was actually thinking they were really spies for the CIA or something, so there you go, huh?

This is a load of bs… bogus claims. The brilliant Wynn’s channel’s overheads are large. Cost of boat purchase, loan repayments, vessel running costs and boat never ending maintenance (the sea and weather are brutal), docking marina and boat yard fees, flights, hotel quarantine fees, no crew, costs of camera and computer equipment, cost of satellite connections navigation etc, medical cover and boat insurance fees, parts shipping fees and local import taxes, visa fees… the list goes on and on for expenses… this video is next to clueless… then ask which USA state are they taxed on? Texas or Delaware or elsewhere? Aaaaargh 👀🤣

You might want to do a little more research... And actually show the products they sell and not just some random photos. They have absolutely no crew to help them shoot and edit, I've literally been following them from day one And while they do invite patreons onto the boat every now and then to travel with them for a week or so, none of them are paid. They don't make nearly the money from KZfaq that you claim they do - otherwise they wouldn't have half a dozen other jobs that they do online, might want to go watch the video they put up roughly 2 weeks ago explaining just how they make their money. Could they be lying? Of course! At least 40% of the KZfaqrs absolutely lie about the money they make (And exactly how they make it) whether they round up or down but the Wynn's don't fall into that category. You've obviously never watched a single one of their videos because it's not even close to unclear where they are based, they have been extremely open about the fact that they both came from Texas - you sir, are an idiot. They are simply a young couple traveling the world and working hard to be able to do it. Go pick on someone else.
