For those that are interested in a small wedding, would you recommend a venue like a quinta? Or, do you have other recommendations. Small wedding meaning less than 50 guests.

Great question! So a "quinta" is the most synonymous word to "wedding venue" in Portuguese and they come in multiple shapes, styles and sizes. Outside of Quintas you have historical places like castles and convents which also come in different shapes, styles and sizes. You also have more alternative venues like public gardens, boutique hotels and restaurants. So yes, any of these types of venues would work for a small wedding. It's a case of finding the right venue for your party and economizing on the space. What I would say is that most venues will have their lower minimums on weekdays and Sundays. Saturdays will almost always be their highest minimum numbers threshold as Saturdays are so sought after. I hope this answers your question!
