the monthly cost of an apartment here is more than your total monthly expenses 🥴

Hey just wanted to ask those 1000 $ per month that you spend on the average is that including the housing and tuition or is that without paying for dormitories and tuition ? ^^ Love your videos by the way. I'm planning on coming to seoul for 6 mont in march of 2023 and I just want to make sure to budget myself correctly

@nextstopkorea
@nextstopkorea 2 жыл бұрын

Usually it does affect the decision of the university when it comes to a full time master or bachelor. No matter if you’re on scholarship or not. How strict they are depends on the major and the university! ☺️

Did you have to apply for the full year of school or are you applying and paying as you go for each term?
@nextstopkorea
@nextstopkorea 2 жыл бұрын
I applied for 6 months and will extend it in march. So you can choose it quite freely ☺️ Due to Covid you have to apply for at least 2 semester in the beginning!
@claudia73472
@claudia73472 2 жыл бұрын
@@nextstopkorea For language schools you can apply for 1 semester first (without a visa but a k-eta depening from which country you are) which you can apply more as you continue. Dunno about university tho
@nextstopkorea
@nextstopkorea 2 жыл бұрын
@@claudia73472 correct!! Thank you! ☺️ For a shorter Summer Language course that’s possible too at a university. But Keta is just valid for 90 days and one “Normal” language semester takes usually 3 months. With the 10 days quarantine the risk is quite high that the visa ends before the semester ends, So some universities are not accepting it at the moment :/
