Great question!! At least $500 in the beginning because you need to learn your audience and what they like/ respond to. Once you learn that they I would speak more to get your money’s worth. At that time I suggest $1000-$1500 until you become a pilar in your community.once people know you, you can push back

It really depends on the state. Most states WILL require an address prior to the paperwork being submitted. My point is that the application itself can take 6-9nmonths to complete. You do NOT want to pay for a space while you complete an application. Also getting a clinical contract can take a lot of time. Make sure you have one also.

Thank you so much!!! Honestly, I haven’t used my NP in almost a year. I have a PRN job just to keep the licenses up but that will not last long because my business takes up sooo much of my job. If your goal is not to use it, and be a school owner then you don’t need to go. And all the money you are spending on that degree you could spend on your business. Focus your time and energy on entrepreneurship and learning how to better your self that way. If getting your NP is just a personal goal than that is another story. I hope that helps.

Yes, the reason I say you don't rent a space initially is because the paperwork will take you six months at minimum to complete. There is no need for you to pay rent while trying to complete the paperwork.

@@Kenyanqueen698 after your paperwork is 75% done and you have obtained a clinical contract. Not just the clinical site telling you they will sign the clinical contract but you actually having one in your hand signed.

@@TheSecretCocktail That’s a little bit confusing because with the state of Va, while submitting for application, clinical site is part of the application (which means that the name of clinical site indicated on the application must have signed a contract) is this different from other states?

You skip that part of the application and fill out the other 500 pages! Once the other 500 pages are complete, then and only then do. you get a place! The point here is that the application is lengthy and takes months! Do not get a place when you start the paperwork, wait until the end.

Many nurses have started a CNA school without a business partner and have been successful. The key element is to bring people in to support you. They do not need to be business partners but people who will play lead roles to help you get things done. Of course, that comes with a price, but it is worth it.
