Chicago is amazing for people in their 20s to rent. To be in a big city, (all the neighborhoods they mentioned are ‘’cool”) for that much. You can get studios that are newly renovated uptown (which has been revitalized) for 800 right off the L with a giant target but also restaurants and clubs right next to you. Even lake view you can get a 2000s rehab 1 bed or studio for 12-1400. The suburbs at times and depending where is much more expensive.
