Something a little different today. I often see folks asking on social media how much KZfaq pays. Well today I am sharing that very information. I am detailing my top ten earning videos from 1st January 2024 to the end of April 2024.

Thank you for sharing this information, Liz. It definitely gave me a better idea of what KZfaq pays in our genre. You're right about that 4000 hours being hard to get when the timeframe keeps shifting. I was a new viewer from that recommendation of your channel for the page edger video. Now I need to go look for those pockets you didn't have an example of. I love pockets. Have a great day.

Great informational video, being a fellow youtuber it is alot of work for very little pay that is for sure. I think the best thing people can do to help a channel is watch (play) the videos, preferred start to finish if possible, likes help as it helps with searches etc.

I did enjoy the video very much. It was very interesting and I see that you would have to work really hard to make a living as a youtuber. It also shows me why people are always selling digitals to increase their income. Well I learned things from watching videos with digitals I really don't like to use them very often. I love your channel so much Liz it is just one of my favorite ones. I try never to miss one and I almost always make what you are making except for the weird and wonderful Journal which I just adore watching. Blessings and love as you get ready to move. Well Liz thats just a tiny wee bit of money you’re getting for all the work and the material you are using and doing. People are always nosey how much someone gets money wise. For all the joy, teaching and information you give to everyone you should be paid much more. I love watching your movies and learn a lot from it, my hubby likes to watch them sometimes too. Thank you for pulling the curtain back on KZfaq monies. Like you, I make my videos because I enjoy it, although I have not yet reached the threshold for payment. And as for why one video gets tons of views while others nearly languish? All I can figure is that the stars aligned, the YT Algorithm smiled, and the sun shone in Scotland, :)

Favorite video I’ve seen today. It explains a lot of what I’ve wondered about videos I watch here on KZfaq. I’m toying with starting a channel. Hi Liz, I enjoyed this. I think I earned a total of $5 NZ last week, so 2 pounds. Lucky I’m not in it for the money. (Or the fame😂). Isn’t it weird how one video just goes wild with watches. I have one like that. It’s one of my earliest videos and it’s dreadful but my most watched video. 🤷‍♀️😂. ❤

This was very interesting, Liz. I had no idea what a crafter would make on KZfaq. Now you have sparked my curiosity about other things. For instance, if I watch a video on double-speed, does that impact the person's earnings? Second, how about partial viewing? I get interrupted a lot and then occasionally don't get back to finish watching the person's video. Third, does the thumbs-up add any earnings? I am just wondering how best to help smaller channels and if these things make any difference. Great video, thank you for sharing. By the way, I love your accent.

Hi Kitty, I am going to jump in and answer this as well, thumbs up does not earn any money but it can help with being seen on youtube more. The longer you can watch someones video the better, as it is all based on how many minutes get watched. No one knows if people are actually watching or just playing the video. watching at double speed would just make less watched time, so it will help some but of course watching regular time would be more watched hours. I think best way to help is to watch, like, comment and if you can share.
