This channel was created to track the life of our Bullmastiff Tua. Wow, I wish I would have had something like this when I was raising my last dog! 👍 She had a Boxer momma and a mystery father. She looked like a Bernese Mountain Dog. I weighed her every week, and her growth was surprisingly similar to Tua's. Not quite as much, but pretty close. I didn't measure her height. I wish I would have. I scoured the internet for something like this about Bernese Mountain Dogs, but couldn't find a breakdown as nice as this. When I get my Bullmastiff someday, I will definitely come back to this! A lot!. Lol. Thank you!

It’s been a remarkable ride watching Tua grow. I think you have been blessed with him. Thanks about your insight regarding your Doberman. I was leaning towards a male but when you mentioned your male transformation regarding becoming dog aggressive that killed the idea. I assume their are no aggressive issues of any kind with Tua.

Thanks for the stats. Cool to have them all in one video. Moose just turned 30 weeks and cracked the 100lb mark. Pretty cool to see these big guys grow. Have to remind ourselves that he’s still a puppy when he’s being a knucklehead even though he looks like an adult. Thanks for for update!

I wish I had measured my female bull/Neo mastiff in the mornings then at night bc I swear she grew an inch a day. Shes now 52kilo. After 2 yrs she started putting on muscle instead of growing. From 2 yrs old we've been doing 40-50 kilo walks per week. Everyone says thats unheard of for a bullmastiff. The other thing I found was I couldnt have a vegi patch until I started feeding her veggies daily bc she ate all my veggies in my patch. I believe animals know what nutrients they need - they dont need google lol. People are astounded at the amount of veggies she eats and is so massive lol(she has muscle) well, elephants are massive too lol Tua will probably be twice my Aryas weight when fully grown. Theres a 75 kilo male at our dog park but he cant play like my Arya does. He cant walk as far either. Socialising Arya has made her into a very friendly and much loved girl but she protects her house as if it were her castle. She also protects her friends but not too aggressively. She knows her strength. Two of her friends had a fight so she ran at pitbull friend, side swiped him knocking him off the other friend - he flew across the grass. Another thing she will do is just stand there until the other dog gets over his issue but if the dog bits then she jumps up, grabs them on top of the neck & pushes them down on the ground. She teaches me alot LOL

I wish I would have kept track on my boys stats! Our Bullmastiff Chief is 126 lbs at 11 1/2 months...

concerning your video on the bullmastiff that was rehomed for biting, you asked for input from other owners. I have owned 2 bullmastiffs, the first one had a magnificent temperament and would never bite. my new 9 month old bullmastiff puppy however to my shock has bitten me 3 times, and i dont mean just a puppy bite. I never expected this, and dont know if it was some kind of resource guarding or something else as there was no warning of it so it just proves bullmastiffs are capable of this even if they have a reputation of being very reliable breed. i would appreciate your thoughts on this , thanks jim

Hi any tips on how can i improve the height of my bullmastiff?

Keep track of weight still. Your mastiff will build more bulk...fill out more. When we had our old english mastiff winston it took 2 years to get to his 210lbs. Once Freya stopped growing her chest got more bulky. We have a huge yard 4 1/2 acres she loves to run on. She becomes a huge solid mass. She loves playing hide and seek outside. Only works once but it is funny to watch her try to find you.

Been tracking my Bullmastiff growth since having in February & his growth varied completely to Tua but now at a year old end up near on the same. Id be very interested to know how the growth progressed from say 12 to 18 months, my puppy is now 59.2kg at one year old or 130.5lbs, have you any general expectations of their growth thereafter? Did height go up any further & do they fill out a great deal more? When did Tua growth stop ?

Did you have to train his ears? If so, how did you do it?

We haven’t been keeping track of height but our boy Rex definitely seems shorter than tua was, he just turned 6 months and was 82 lbs. do you know the weights of Tuas parents? It will be interesting to see where he ends up based on their weights. We’re expecting rex to be somewhere north of 150, mom is 130 and dad is 170

Do you bring him in to get weighed each week or do you do it at home? I've been doing the Step on Scale With Dog and Subtract Personal Weight method. This won't last much longer as he'[s growing like a weed:)
