In This Video:
- I reveal how national pension systems around the world are at risk and why you need to take your retirement into your own hands.
- I provide a breakdown of how much gold & silver I think you should be buying each year based on your income.
- I also answer a viewer question on best countries to consider in case you have to flee yours.
Be sure to watch to the very end because it is full of useful information.
None of this advice - I am not a financial advisor - this is educational material!

As unpopular is fiat is I did not start stacking until i had 6 months of living expenses saved. I think this is crucial, to have 3-6 months minumum saved, and sleep better at night having it My current allocation is to maximize my employer match for the retirement plan. I am fortunate, this makes 15% of gross income I think your estimates are close - my goal is 3 oz gold per year for the next 17 years if the body holds up. So thats about 6000 on a 100k salary, so a little loftier savings goal. I am also single so it makes it a bit easier. That would make 60 oz to go with my retirement plan- a nice monthly augmentation for 5 years in my. . . . . golden years That being said, looking back, i do wish my younger self had educated himself earlier about precious metals!

Great great GREAT information! I’ve stacked silver most of my 10 years but as of the past 3 to 4 years I was picking up 1/10 ounce gold coins until they became too expensive now this year I’m buying mainly quarter ounce gold coins. But I’m still stacking 10 ounce bars and on sale Britannia’s , maples and ASE’s.

Really enjoy the video, however I think that your recommendations for countries to move to that are a little bit more financially advantageous for westerners was a bit limited but you did have some good countries to suggest. Thailand is an excellent place, along with Vietnam, and several of the Eastern European countries like Poland, we're good suggestions. Some other places that are just as good if not better is columbia, Costa rica, any of the Caribbean islands, bulgaria, serbia, albania, moldova, and portugal.

Love your channel BG. I just bought Kilos at $1.00 over spot and rounds and 5 oz bars for $1.50 over spot. Few Americans own gold and silver and that is a shame. Currency is just paper with a value we place on it, nothing else. Your channel is a great service for the community. especially if you're older. I keep hearing "dollar cost averaging" is the way to buy PM's. Warren Buffet says "buy when blood is in the streets". That's my phylosophy and it seems to work. The paper market can play around with price all they want until they can't any longer, it's just another worthless derivative that will eventually fail.

Great Video Bald Guy. The situation in the USA is why I invest in PMs. My biggest fear is my head exploding when the social security office tells me I have been a good investor and saved money wisely and will be denied (means-tested) from any SS benefit. However, with the US government using the money printer at will, I need to have some anchor to care for the family. I will work to my last day cleaning toilets if that what it takes to care for my family

Fine update. I have been stacking almost weekly since 2008 with both silver & gold. I stack more gold now that I am retired, and like you I prefer fractional gold because it is more liquid. I have no debt either which helps with my weekly purchases. The most important thing I always tell friends who stack is have a plan and try to buy on the dips if at all possible. I always remind myself them THE DEBT is never going away and will only worsen. Kepp up the good fight!

@baldguymoney5568
@baldguymoney5568 7 ай бұрын
You should declare it as you leave the country - and declare as you enter the destination country. Declaring only lets them know that you have it - they will not take it (only anecdotal cases of that). Not declaring means fine and risk they will take what you have.

I've been planning my life like I'll get nothing but hassle from the government and I think everyone should be making similar plans. Every government will push it off for as long as they can but there will come a time when they just can't anymore. I also appreciate the suggestion of countries to go to. If Canada flops (I dislike Trudeau too and he's not helping us) then I'd be headed to the US. Beyond that I guess I better learn to speak Polish or Thai. Thanks as always!

Another great video. Please, please, please can you do another video like todays one but for people based in the UK. As you are aware we pay onto of premiums 20% VAT (tax) on silver (not gold). So silver is expensive for us and as soon as we purchase it, we are at a loss of 50% + off the bat. A lot of people in the UK only stack gold (especially sovereigns) So would love your calculations for UK. (Lower incomes included)

Some caveats about your list. 1. Canada only wants professionals with lots of money. If you're not a doctor or lawyer or Tech professional or wealthy they don't want you. 2. Thailand is getting overrun. A better bet would be Cambodia or Laos, nearby but much less overrun and much cheaper and you're close to Thailand as well. 3. Kazakhstan!

If you are retired and live in the US or are not prepared properly to retire it is a good idea to immigrate to another country where the cost of living is lower. Panama is a good country to retire to for example. As a US citizen you must downsize your standard of living though. Learn to live in smaller quarters. Learn to use public transportation etc. Use public medical care. With proper planning you can make this move. This way you can live on your social security for longer. The lifestyle in the US is no longer sustainable. Most people cannot afford to retire in the US and live the same lifestyle they lived while they were working. Many of you are in denial about this and will not consider moving out of the country. This is OK by me. I am just making a suggestion. What has happened to the US has happened almost overnight it seems like, and people don't really understand what has happened to them. People never dreamed that it might be a reality someday that it might be a necessity to leave the country in order to retire with some dignity. But it has actually happened. The US has been economically destroyed for the retiree.

They said Social Security would end in the 60's, 70's, 80's and so forth. There could be changes to the retirement age specially for millennial babies, but social security is funded. In the 70's we went thru the oil crisis (waiting in long lines for 2-4 gallons of gas). In the 80's the terrible Reaganomics that took us to 13+ inflation, black Monday in the stock market and the first ever deficit of over a trillion dollars. The 2000's gave us the dotcom crash and the housing market crash. After two wars in the last 20+ years our countries economy while not perfect is very resilient. If you add the North American nearshoring the three economies of Canada, USA and Mexico can survive and are well position to compete with the EU, BRICS or any other union or association. Remember Social Security was never intended to be a person's sole source of income in retirement. Be your own bank and never live above your means.

Always lived in the US and in NH and plan to stay here. It has problems just like every other country out there but I prefer the devil I know over the devil I don't. I've got about 5-7% of my portfolio in miners and SLV. As soon as the Bitcoin ETF's come out I'll start building a 10% stake in them. That will give me about 20% in alternative assets. I've said this before but I don't believe physical money is the future. It's a dead man walking. The tech trend is unstoppable. It's interesting that what you suggest I purchase is almost exactly what I purchase for my income level on an annual basis. I do this as a matter of preparedness, but most especially for the possibility of my retirement, whether Social Security or Pension, not being sufficient or not being available in the future. As a result, I've calculated that I would need approximately 1,800 ounces of Silver & 24 ounces of Gold annually. My initial goal is to reach 1 year, and then I will be shooting for 10. If I ever go beyond that, will depend upon how the future turns out. I am eligible to retire with a full retirement in 2032, though I may try to work until 2035 or get another job, post-retirement. I will be well under the minimum Social Security age still, so it's likely that I will continue to work, but I'm allowed to actually start drawing my full lifetime payment at 55 years of age, with a full 30 years of service. The point though is that I stack with this in mind. I wouldn't say that it's a super high likelihood that I will have to use my metals to supplement or replace my retirement and/or Social Security, but the probability is not ZERO, and it is growing over time. Very interesting and timely video!

This is exactly why Martha and I stack. We have expanded our rear partfolio by several stacks in the last 3 weeks alone. Im flying past Martha with the capacity to hold, as of last night, 15 stacks. Ill have to say it hurts a little, but its a good pain. The reason i jumped ahead in capacity so much is no coincidence, though. Martha and I were walking through the hood 2 nights ago and she got scared when a brother asked her for directions. She tensed up and popped out 2 stacks of Britannias just like that! I instantly bent down, inserted them in my pocket, and assumed normal posture.

Get as much gold as is reasonable for your income, but it will be a shortage of food and water which appears sooner. Grow a garden and set out fruit trees. Australia is probably the top worst nation in which to move. Their "health crisis" laws should be enough to warn everyone from moving there on a permanent basis. The only other worst nations to move to, are in Eastern Europe. Poland heads that list, because the Ukraine conflict is right on its border. I think gold is ultimately where you want to be as you age. At the current ratio of 85:1, I’d go all in Silver then swap it for Gold when it corrects. Even if it corrects to 42:1 you’ve bought 2oz of Gold in the future at today’s 1oz prices. If it magically corrects to 15:1 that’s roughly 5.5oz of Gold in the future at today’s 1oz prices. Respectfully, This whole thing is going to collapse in the next 3-5 years, not 20. In 2019 Gold was classified as the world’s only other Tier-1 reserve asset to the dollar as the world’s central banks bought it up at record rates. JP Morgan fixed the market to buy 1.2 Billion ounces of Silver. Conversely, the 20-Year T-Bill, at one time the world’s safest long term investment, has become extremely volatile and risky as countries are divesting for a commodity-backed money system. The dollar can’t keep this up for much longer. It’s a ticking time bomb.

I hear that a lot. I've never been to an LCS that would allow me to swap silver for gold. I think people that have that plan have never actually tried it. An LCS wants to make a profit and gold is so much more liquid than silver that no LCS is not going to do that trade without you taking a serious loss. Sure they'll buy your silver and sale you some gold but they'll make a profit on both transactions. A straight trade at whatever the market ratio is just is not gonna happen in your wildest dreams.

Gold and silver, yes. 💯 But do yourself a favor and start stacking bitcoin as well. Just bitcoin (BTC), none of the other "crypto" sh*tcoins. Stack and hold. Stacking bitcoin is easy, plenty of videos and web pages on how to do it safely and securely. Stay calm, stay off coinbase, stay out of the sh*tcoins, read up, be careful, stack and hold. Don't tell anyone you're doing it, either. Same as with gold and silver.

Have you ever seen my Bitcoin video?
@JohnTurner313
@JohnTurner313 7 ай бұрын
@@baldguymoney5568 Just did! I like how you approached it, calculating number of people vs amount of BTC available. 👍 One thing that might be worth exploring is the ratio of BTC to gold and silver. For example, the minimum amount you calculated in the video was 0.0024 BTC. All good, but for awhile there a few months back, 0.1 BTC was basically equal to an ounce of gold. Now, and at the time you made the video, it is more like 0.05 BTC is an ounce of gold. So a regular gold stacker could divert the equivalent of one ounce of gold and be set with BTC if the recommended minimum is 0.0024 BTC. Then measure and compare the potential growth of that BTC vs the growth of one ounce of gold.

Not a Yank, Singaporean. Let me try. I am assuming a lot. SS is a defacto pay as you go retirement system that initially accured vast surplus, but as the US population ages, it is projected to go belly up by its trustees by 2033/34. Assuming 200 billion is injected per year starting in FY2023. By FY2033 a total of 2 trillion would have been pumped in & assuming that stop in 2033 & all 200 billion were invested in treasuries yielding 5%, ceteris paribus. That should push back the inabiility of SS to fully service it promises to most defintely until sometime well past 2045. So SS should be good until around then.
