my 2g trans FMVB 47RE I rebuild with Firepunk's competition kit, billet shafts and all the billet goodies, ATS 5 Star triple disk converter, mishimoto cooler and had a PDD Trans cooler line kit rated for 300PSI and I finished the truck build after six months and it blew a cooler line within 100 miles luckily, I caught it before it did any damage and adjusted the line pressure once everything was fixed. Definitely did not take the line pressure into consideration when building the truck.... but you live and you learn. currently building a 4g longhorn and repainting the 2g to match the same theme PX8 and Metallic white gold two tone.

My guess before dyno would be about 750 on stock 48re. My buddy’s old truck made a little under 800 on a stock one before it shit a brick. High hopes for this one haha 🤞🏻

Lavon's crew cab is nasty. Back to back Diesel Power Challenge winner,1300hp (if I remember correctly..probably wrong), and it can tow, daily drive, drag race,etc. And I may be sounding a little fanboy at the moment but if you dont know about firepunk you haven't been into the hobby long.

I've got an 03 cummins 3500 im not sure how much power (i was told that it had been dynod at 800 hp before) I got but I completly bombed the transmission this weekend. Im trying to find a new transmission for it but its also my work truck so I need it to pull any suggestions...

how did you set up 'twin' turbos? Feed 3 runners in to each turbo? Most guys are running multiple turbos, run compound turbos..

Hey guys I have a serious problem I'm in Colorado I have a 2004 dodge ram 2500 I have 122k on it I have a 2nd gear band slipping it's all stock except an mbrp exhaust. I do most my own work. I have cattle I haul hay for weekly comes from 80 miles away. I must get hay but with the truck going down I am not able to drive to limon to get hay, what can I do to prevent further damage to the trans as cheaply as possible I'm likely to build it myself. But planned a later date and not an issue yet but I'm in a issue thank you for any help anyone can give me oh tha cows thank to.

Got a 04.5 with a old power max tunner talked to the owner of the the company “there not in business anymore” he’s said with it all the way up it’s 650 hp 1000tq with that being said I roasted my 48 in one night of pulls

Lavon built the trans in my last Cummins. It was the best 7k I ever spent. I tried to blow it up and like he told me I couldn't. Truck was making 650 to the wheels daily driven
