Most of the channels I watch are completely demonitized by KZfaq, so I just leave adblock on all the time. I don't have it on my phone, though, so at least the occasional view gets money from me.

I’ve worked closely with KZfaq and even hosted classes at their studios .. they won’t demonetize you for talking about how much you get paid on their platform ... they even share numbers from other creators as well... they honestly don’t care .. lol

I loveeee how informative these videos are, it's really nice to see a glimpse into how much youtubers really make and the reality behind youtube being able to be a viable income for so many different people, who before they had such a platform may have been stuck at a dead end job of some sort instead of being able to be creative. I wish I could start a lifestyle vlog of sorts. But I know it's so oversaturated and my life isn't even that interesting ahhahahahaha.

I found these videos because my husband has recently brought up wanting to start a KZfaq channel. He’s extremely passionate about football (wanted to join the nfl but, since he dropped out of high school, that wasn’t an option... he did end up going back to school and getting his associates degree though) and wants to start a sports sit down talk show type channel. He has so many great ideas for it and I’d love for him to win a camera to get started! I like how honest and genuine you are. Very educational video. This has been so enlightening. You gained a new subscriber. If I were to become a KZfaqr I would want to go around my city looking for local talent. Such as singers, musicians, poets, and create a platform for them to showcase there skills. I am a song writer so I am passionate about the arts and know there is so much talent I'm my city. I would love to be a part of helping showcase that to the world

Thanks for the video! You're awesome and have inspired my sister and I to start a Tesla channel focused on racing. We both have Performance model 3's and plan to do some content on Autocross and street racing as well as some reaction video content. Siren nah you’re wrong, youtube takes the 9.99 a month from youtube red customers, and divides it amongst monetized youtubers and essentially gives them the same amount they’d typically get per view but just with different money, it’s not coming from an advertiser. all of that money plus their ad revenue is then combined all together on a video. however, youtube probably still gets like half or even more of the 9.99 payments because youtube red is more profitable for them as opposed to the content creators because they’re just getting what they normally get.

As a teacher... I find this statement fascinating in so many ways. My degree is in digital technology and culture... and I teach photography. It’s not just KZfaq but also sports and entertainment as a whole (as an industry). As a society, maybe we should pay attention to this trend.

Hi Shelby, just wanted to say that your videos have been particularly inspiring in terms of getting up off my big ol' caboose and starting to create content. I'm starting a channel, this channel, on creating board game reviews and succinct rules explanations, something I've been meaning to do for a long while. If you want to throw a camera violently in the direction of this Canadian, feel free! But you don't need to, mostly dropping a comment to say thanks. Really these are the most informative videos on this specific topic, and even though I know my particular niche is not going to be generating me a lot of cash, partly due to the audience size, it's still been an exceptional resource in terms of structuring everything moving forward. Hey Shelby, so I had started a youtube channel, being myself, my videos were a major highlight and enjoyment in my day to day, seeing feedback and input was truly amazing. However since then my camera had been stolen, as a result this had put an end to something I truly loved doing. In South Africa there really is not a large group of people who do youtube or see it as a worth while motive, my whole life has always been structured around youtube, so winning the camera could honestly bring me so much joy and happiness, allowing me to restart my youtube, pursue it and finally reignite my passion that is making videos. :)

In fact most of the revenue cames from mobile users and for this type of viewers they usually really don't use adblocks. Thats a more common thing for pc users
