i have a envoy i pulled the 4.2 and put in my wifes trailblazer thinking about making a envoy ss sleeper but man its hard to find a one with a 5.3 or 6.0 thats junk but has a good motor and trans

So you dropped in the 5.3 and what trans did you use and drive shaft rear end ?

I’ve heard I can use the 5.3 mounts and computer for the 6.0. Can i swap In a 6.0 using all the stuff of a 5.3

Was it necessary to use the 5.3 out of another trailblazer? Or could I yank any random 5.3 from a junkyard and rebuild it? Getting ready to do the swap myself but trying to do proper research before hand... how did you get the exhaust figured out? I probably have some more questions if you don’t mind be buggin ya lol
