This was my dream car as well! After 2 years of saving I just bought mine! It’s a 2018 royal crimson gt premium with black leather Recaro seats, and the 6 speed manual! It literally has every option I was looking for. I paid $27,000 and it only had 10,000 miles. Royal crimson was a one year color I believe, so they are fairly rare. Not only that but like he said in the video, the Recaros are rare. The only thing I’m doing to my mustang is putting 19-20 inch performance pack wheels on it! Maybe in a couple years I’ll have the ford dealer put on a roush supercharger on it.

I bought them on AmericanMuscle.com however I think they discontinued them. They’re nice but very low, and with the car being lowered there’s only 2-3 inches of ground clearance making it the lowest part of the car. However I only scrape them on speed bumps or driveway entrances if there’s a big lip. Anyway the problem isn’t the scraping. The way they’re mounted is with those plastic push pin things. Not a complaint, but when they scrap, because it’s plastic it flexes and rubs against the paint on the side of the fender. Thus causing scratches. Very minor, and hidden behind the flaps, but they’re there. Also, in the rears it holes ALOT of road debris where they mount, thus holding moisture. Which isn’t an issue since it’s all plastic back there, but a flaw in my book. I’m not sure if that’s the reasons they’re discontinued, but that’s what I gathered from them. Overall I still like them and I don’t plan on removing them. Maybe I’ll make a full review video on them

i am more on the emotion purchase style, but i definitely will balance the price with what i want. i am tired of marathon car shopping experience. I guess the stang u got is not from ur state. The one i have , actually is from a dealer i went passed on the way to my list car dealer. the dealer there is really aggressive on the price and eager to sell and i really need the performance pack, the final price is on the low end of kbb price, so i took it with a good trade in value. the 18 stang is different, due to widespread engine knock and shifter issue, there are a lot of 18-19 mustang sits in dealer parking lot, so they must eager to get them out. You can see there isn't many 15-17 mustang GT esp with performance package for sale on the market, because ppl keep them

JimboFiveO yes many. Mine for one. Lol. Zander13 had them too before he switched out. It’s an option. It’s not rare. What I truly never see is the carbon fiber package on regular GTs with the alcantara seat inserts and door panels. That’s a super rare option and only like $1200. Makes the car that much nicer. And making it even more rare is when you get that with the Recaros. But I will say this. It’s rare ok 15-17 mustangs GT’s. Much less on 18+ which is what I have.

leo xia yeah but then you wouldn’t have the paint protection lmao the reason why I got it is because I plan to keep the car for a long time, and I’m a protectionist so paint is important to me. If I weren’t keep it, I would never spend that on paint protection

Same here. I got a used Mustang GT Premium used with only 9000 miles on it. It already has a Corsa Extreme catback exhaust system and the power pack stage 2 performance kit. They were trying to get me to look at the Ecoboost that was actually more new starting at $34,000 - $40000.

They’re about $450 a piece. Then I had my local shop do the install. White glove treatment means I don’t have to worry about joe blow scratching my car or chipping my rim - which has happened lol

But yes, it is a lot

@@jimbofiveo2048 Yeah, peace of mind is everything. I was just comparing to my own experience. I had a base GT350 w/ track pack, a 17 GT350R and now a 20 GT350R and got PS4s on all of them. I took them all to the same shop. They're kind of like a smaller wheels boutique if you know who those guys are but tires + balance was like 1700 and then I had my dealer do the alignment and was a little over 100. Not a whole lot difference, I know. Anyway, car looks good!
