though I had some problem with sea water It also kzfaq.infoUgkxa-FNYUOM93a388gi9a4brtSCEVmrHgJH land for finding any things very easily. (thought it would work as normal due to it being water proof within certain parts of the detector), on dry land and sand worked well. My first one, so still have lots to learn

My nieces go to Thailand and have lived there for a few months, they love it!! I’ve always been afraid of going there because of the 2004 tsunami. On one small island they flew a helicopter and landed on the island. They asked the locals how many people perished and they said none because for decades they’ve been taught, If the earth rumbles, run to highest point and that’s exactly what they did and it saved their lives. What a great dive!! Can’t believe how much you filled your pouch!!🤙🏻☺️🐬

I hope you had fun on your vaca to such a wonderful place. As for the bullet, the caliber is stamped on the edge of its base. It's a bullet for a pistol, and searching what's stamped on it will give you an idea of what handguns it could be used in.

Yeah if it's got rust under the gold plating you can just toss that in the trash but if it's black under the gold you know it's silver

Gold prospecting and treasure from the beaches, its amazing how little things excite us, it our precious it is, been getting a lot of rifle bullets out of the Brisbane river of late and a couple of gold rings to boot.. Can i ask what camera you use when you film? i have an old gopro hero 3 but it is on its last legs, was wanting to get a new one, keep up the videos, love seeing what you find

G'day mate, sure no problem! I was using the GoPro hero 3 but it had a scratch on the lens so I ended up buying the hero7. This turned out to be a very bad run of luck as i had 3 in a row that broke within 2 weeks. It was so frustrating mate especially when you've gone travelling to film. I ended up buying the hero 8 and ive had it about 3 weeks so we'll see how it goes. Thanks for subscribing mate...appreciate the support 🤙

Looks like a S&W .32 Long used almost exclusively in police revolvers. Clean off the rear end of it and I think you'll see .32. The rim is barely bigger in diameter than the rest of the cartridge. This is common for revolvers, not semi-auto pistols or rifles. I think if you Google .32 S&W Long, you'll find photos of police revolvers. I've only found one casing in my life. These were only popular in the early part of the 1900's, like I believe 1910 to 1940. The .38 Special replaced the .32 Long, so the .32 Long didn't last. So what you're holding is a bullet that's 100yrs old. You have the whole bullet. I only found one empty casing up in the Colorado mountains.

In the Uk ammo is date stamped on the base with the of manufacture that’s a 9mm pistol,I think. Still viable so take care.

Thanks for the video .. wonderful poor beach with no great stuff ... Think of that the European people's when they are coming for swimming special in Thailand beaches believe they didn't wear any golds only fake jewellery so if you interesting for great stuff we know where you can find 23 and 24 karat . Just a tip to pass on.. Gopro audio with waterproof case is going to sound bad no matter what. Use two cameras to film, waterproof for underwater, and another one on maybe a float at the surface with a skeleton non waterproof case. your audio will sound so much better. great vids though.

Hey mate, thanks for the tip and I know what you mean. The thing is im not using a hard case on this gopro...I think its just the water in the mic hole when I come up from diving. Do you have any idea how I can fix this?? Thanks for subscribing mate - glad you're liking the videos :)

@@BondiTreasureHunter Oh i see. Maybe just after you surface give it a puff of air in the mic hole, maybe that will clear it. Does it have an option for a waterproof shell even though the camera itself is waterproof? If so you can crack open the back of the case everytime you surface and close it up before you go under. This technique works well on my non waterproof one. The only problem is if i forget to close it before going under it would be ruined.

Yeah I think just blowing off the air is probably the easiest way. But I was thinking of buying a hard case coz you can't replace the lenses if they get a scratch...annoying stuff hey! Thanks for the tip

Best thing to do with a crusty artifact or coin is to use a toothpick and if it doesn't come off easy just leave it if you're going to sell them let the collectors deal with cleaning them they like them better when they're dirty anyway once you've marked up the artifact to them they're worthless as it should be

Hey mate, yeah Im using the nox 800...I have had some problems in the past so less is more when it comes to diving if you know what I mean. The customer service at minelab is excellent though if you do have a problem. Thanks for the sub mate 🤙

Yeah mate the excal is a great diving machine but the nox is better but if I was in bali id go for the excal. Its very reliable. But yeah minelab has worldwide service :) 👍

@@BondiTreasureHunter good , is minelab in jakarta, but it was 2 grand for the monster1000 so i flew home for crissy and got it for 1100, i might fly down Perth pick one up

How about you use your magnet along the bottom of the ocean? One of you could do that and the other could use the metal detector. I love your vids love to see what you find.
