The highest VA disability rating for knee pain is 100% and you will get $3621.95 every single month for the rest of your life tax free. In addition to the monthly VA disability pay you will also receive health care benefits and a whole host of other benefits for 100% disabled veterans. If you have a 100% disability rating, you may also be able to receive Dependency and Indemnity Compensation (DIC). This is a non-taxable benefit paid to eligible spouses, children, or parents of veterans who died from service-connected disabilities. The VA disability rating for knee pain can range from 0% to 100%. The exact amount you receive in veterans benefits depends on the percentage you are assigned by a VA rater so make sure you study before your VA C&P exam!

10meme11 Look at some of your already service connected conditions and go the secondary route. I was at 90% for awhile. I claimed radiculopathy to my service connected back. Also I claimed the medication for my back which caused me to have GERD. I'm sure you have enough to get you over the hump. You have to be very strategic. I looked at different videos and also signed up for Combat Craig bootcamp. Trust me it's worth it. I did it myself. Do it now so you can get that nice increase we will be getting next month. My left knee was bothering me and giving out on stairs and hills when I put all my weight on that knee. I saw my doctor and had another C&P on both knees. My left knee went from 10% to 30%, right knee stayed the same at 10%. My total rating stayed the same, so no increase in payment, but I'm still glad I got 30%. The strange thing is that my right knee bothers me much more than the left, I'm always in pain from it. I guess there is no rating for pain. I can't stand for over 5 minutes or walk much more than a 1/4 mile because of my right knee, but it stayed the same.

It depends on where you are and how far you have to go. If you are sitting at 94% and you only need one 10% claim that would be easier than sitting at 86% where you need and additional 90%. Either way, TDIU is a workaround and all you need is a vocational expert to work with your existing medical evidence.

Sitting at 20% VA disability for left knee torn ACL and scaring for surgery from cystectomy. I am rated 10% for left knee but did not know that there are additional percentages that could be claimed for the knee. I was diagnosed with Depression in service with suicidal ideation and plan. And had broke my nose on the service which deviated my septum and I have been suffering from sinusitis, rhinitis and headaches for years. And was diagnosed with Obstructive Sleep Apnea and that my nose has obstruction. Now I need surgery on my nose. I filed all of this in September for compensation but still waiting. Make sure you get rated for the scars on your knee as well…I was rated at 10% for right knee ACL and meniscus removal but went back to VA years ago and got an additional 30% for the “six tender surgical scars with nerve damage”…you have to let C&P examiner know that the scars are tender to touch and some parts you have lost feeling I’m going back to get an additional 20% for instability in right knee and also 20% for instability in left knee since my surgery was about 29 years ago and I’ve been compensating all my weight on left side since Also, just got a diagnosis from VA mental health for major depressive disorder due to pain and drug addiction stemming from Percocets I was prescribed following surgery Also going after rating for left hip issues/pain Also going after lower back pain Should be at about 80-90% after But I’ve been experiencing migraines too so I’m gonna see if I can get that service connected too Hopefully by then I’ll be in the HUNDO club Jus some thoughts for your consideration

The VA can't give a # on your pain,they can't judge it by a mechanical or other device so it's up to you to prove or show the symptoms or pain for them to give a rating on it. Pain is a percentage, and scars are another form of percentage as well. There's ways to get secondary claims on top of your service connected claims. Residual pain could get some extra % on your claim, but you need to know the CFR and subpart # to read up on it and see how it factors into your pain. Don't know if that makes a whole lot of sense, but C.C. talks about difficult scenarios on this subject of pain and scars,and what percentage you could get for each one. Don't give up,fight and get educated through C.C. and Dwyane kimble,veteran insiders. I went from 10 to 70 been, turned down with a nexus letter on other claims but I'm gonna hit a hundred I served ,I deserve.

@@jessemarin5044 l just learn leave with pain, sinse 1988 first with a ACL reconstruction, fail ACL reconstruction and now a privet TKR that went sour. Same or more pain it's hard, but the fact that it's what what is knew is that it is getting very difficult getting in or out of a car or a small sub, can't kneel, worst it's very difficult getting dressed specifically due to my right knee. I'm 56, 100% IU-PT Permanent in Nature. Mobility in any shape or form is a bigger issue due to my knee total replacement. And if I go down with my sc - back conditions.

@@CombatCraig My friend, I'm 56, got my IU-PT effective in 1996, "Permanent in Nature" don't know what that means? I'd cross both my 20 ys & 55ys bench mark. Pain and mobility after my right TKR is worst 2d, point nowadays itimore difficult for me to get in and out of a car. That's just an example. Meaning standing up, seating, kneeling, on my bed dressing up and alot of other things are complicated. Here u will find this more interesting, my knee replacement was performed in January 2020, I know a knee replacement is a 30% and that's what I had already. I've not notified the VA about my knee replacement it was around and when covid 19 make it's way thought the word and everything was closed or care was limited. My point is the flexion of the knee it's worst now. Not 2 mentioned that I got a 24/7 after VAM lumbar blockage that leaved me with parasthesia of same the right leg.

I would suggest looking up the MOS manual that detail on paper the basic abilities a soldier must have to do your job. I.e. If you were infantry, you can speak to a lot of bodily damage and the duties you were assigned with while serving. In your personal statement be very specific.

Nah its just a word that is misleading. Protected after 20 years is the only word that matters man👍

He's right. Permanent is a word the VA uses to trick veterans into thinking they are safe. We are NEVER safe with the VA. Until after 20 years.

Since tinnitus can’t be claimed in 2023 due to changes and a veteran already has SC for it prior to it, would it be “poking the bear” to attempt an C&P for Menieres disease in 2023?

@CombatCraig
@CombatCraig Жыл бұрын
Not quite sure what you are referring to. If you filed a claim for your thumb and you haven't received your decision letter yet I would wait for it to arrive so you can see exactly how they arrived at the decision and then you can decide which appeal lane you want to take if you don't agree with the decision.
