I can absolutely understand the way you feel about Say You Swear. I personally loved it but as a person who has had some many awful things happen to them in a short amount of time I think I just related more to Noah. The first 100 pages I wasn’t the biggest fan of but dang I ended up loving it lol!

I loved the first scripture passage at the start of your vlog. I love your Boys of Tommen series covers. The ones in the US are all black and each have some pop of pink or blue or purple coloring. I’m starting Saving 6 this weekend. Finishing up the Do Over by Lynn Painter now. And I’m just like you, the Boys of Tommen series are so addicting. I read one in one day from just not being able to put it down.

I quite literally felt the same about Say Yoy Swear. I didn't love the beginning bc I hated the way the best friend talked.... So juvenile. But then I kinda loved the end... I think? 😂 I tabbed many quotes. But I will say it's very addictive... I read it really fast.

Your review of Say You Swear is so on point. I dnfed it three times before finally finishing it. I only forced myself to finish it bc everyone kept talking about it and saying it was really good and emotional. It wasn’t even worth it. Never trusted booktok again after that.

Say You Swear made me realize I definitely care for a well-written book. There were sad things happening, yes, but the entire time it felt like a Chad was narrating this, so I was also just putting the book down every time we were hit in the face with melodrama.

i wanted to DNF say you swear a million times but pushed through because i was like: “surely i’m missing something…everyone rated this like four or five stars…?” the only thing i miss is the person i was before i read the book 🫠😭
