Chicken fettuccine Alfredo is my go to. Gotta love technology! It's great when it works as expected. I have to say I don't think the issue is that bad. Last time i was there I could only do 2 refills and I was full! Great video!

Leah is a friend but I haven't reached out to her yet to even know if she is in the country while we were there. This was a spur of the moment ticket purchase by both of us with absolutely no plans yet. Who knows we make be sleeping 'stealth camp style'. LOL I am not doing that!

Gidday mate, ive literally never seen a all you can eat these in New Zealand I've only ever seen the all you can eat Buffets where you have to keep walking back to. I'd love to try one off these I wouldn't get through 10 or 11 bowls though. But I do love meatballs and good pasta, Have an amazing week ahead.

Have you ever thought of taking along a tiny portable fan? I have one for my office and it's great! Got it on Amazon for only around $6. It plugs into the laptop, but they have battery-operated ones. Mine is only a few inches high, but it packs a LOT of cooling punch. It will be perfect and cool both you and the food down.

When I get the never ending pasta bowl I usually get 2 or 3 refills. I usually get fettuccini with alfredo or the mushroom alfredo. At my favorite location I can order extra refills and put it in a leftover box and have lunch for the next day.

Your video will have brought me to Olive Garden- 😆 I drove past a Red Lobster for 4 years, never noticed it until someone with me mentioned Red Lobster and I said, yeah- haven't seen one of those since I was a kid! Bob, love the channel. I only follow 2 eaters… you and Esper. You both have calm personalities and seem down to earth. I used to watch killer kennedy but now you can’t watch him since “she” (seeminly his wife) is in every video and cant stand to watch her. We each have what we like and I would say that Geoff and I are similar. I of course no longer have the capacity that he does but our eating style is close. Kind of both just sit there and eat with little to no hype.

My favorite is and always has been Angel Hair with Pesto. However I will take some of those meatballs. 🍝🧀 Bob you need to travel with a little portable fan. I have severe hot flashes and I always have my little fans that hook up to my phone, laptop, etc. Or just battery operated. It would get you through one of these sit downs. 😀

When cooking at home I like to make a baked mostaccioli with meat sauce(cut the casing off a hot Italian sausage). Since I like it spicy I add the oil from a hot giardiniera instead of oo or evoo. Toss it around in the pan with some red pepper flake and bake with a pepper jack or habanero cheese. Then cayenne and a Gorgonzola or blue cheese topping

I've never had the chance to eat to my heart's content, but I once managed to eat the initial bowl plus 7 refills before everyone else was ready to go. My favorite is the Angel Hair with Garlic Mushroom Sauce or 5 Cheese Marinara(both sauces together is best).

@@NotoriousBOB If the food challenges existed 40 years ago like they do today, I would've dominated the majority of them. I'm getting too old for it now, even though I still have a big appetite. Unfortunately, I have very few teeth left to chew with and some of today's challenges would be hard to swallow without being able to chew. I still have the appetite, it just takes me a little longer to eat since I lost my teeth and that's not a good thing when competing. To leisurely eat like you did here, I think I could match you bowl for bowl and be like Beard and order dessert afterwards. lol I just don't see how y'all can afford to travel place to place doing these challenges like y'all do. That expense alone costs more than the food challenges. I just don't see how it balances out if you spend more than you win.

That is an impressive amount, especially if they are no coming out very quickly. I wasted a lot of time weighing and such but still managed 5 minutes a bowl to get and eat it. If I had to wait 5 minutes after I finished the previous bowl it makes it a ton harder. The food just kind of settles and you eventually lose the desire to keep eating.

You should keep the larger bowl after weighing it for 2 reasons; first because you can just add the weight and second if it’s hot the larger bowl will help cool it off.

Next time you want to measure like that, simply measure every bowl (full) and add them together. Then weight the plate one time (no food on it) and remember that value times the number of plates you ate. Simpler than weighing and calculating every time

Not usually. I am very polite and never ask for any favors. I try to sit in a corner or at least were I am not filming someone else eat their meal and I never curse or burp or eat messy. I also explain what I am doing. 99% of the time they are really into it. That 1 % they are just indifferent, not opposed.
