The thing I love about koenigsegg's is that the owner, the CEO. He makes you fall in love with the car and he shows you just as much compassion as you do toward just loving cars and that's what makes me like Koenigsegg. Yes, the cars are amazing but it's the passion that this owner shows to us as consumers how much he loves his cars and cars in general... And really there's no bullshit towards what he actually says.

Yes flatplane crank makes a world of difference on the ability to easily rev high, I'm more referring to the boost progression and how linear the power sounds. It sounds like a naturally aspirated engine revving being muffled through 2 turbos, no noticeable boost lag.

When the CEO and founder is the best marketing guy they have. I just adore how passionate he is about his cars and just how involved he is with every process. I wouldn't be surprised if he effectively takes the role of lead engineer in these cars. That's just a few reasons why I think Koenigsegg is the greatest car company of all time.

Well with the exception that in the W16 it feels like a RR on steroids while the Koenigsegg V8 will have you hate your existence ag about 15 minutes of driving. Don't confuse power with power . The drag cars cab get 4k hp yet noone says anything about how they are putting everyone into shame .

Turbo car owners and especially exotic car owners, never use cheap 95 octane petrol. Instead they use 98 or 100 octane RON, in Europe. So, since Jesko made close to 1300 horsepower on 95 octane, which is impressive, with premium fuel, it will exceed 1300 horsepower or at least make no less than 1300 hp on 100 octane RON!

The Jesko makes 1592 imperial hp on E85, which is a mix of a maximum of 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline. E85 has an estimated octane rating of around 100-105 depending on the ethanol content. The jesko makes 1279 imperial HP on 95 E10 (95 EU/91 US octane with 10% ethanol). E85 has a higher octane rating, the E85 just means maximum of 85% ethanol.

The new Supra (BMW) was developed by Nobuo Nakamura, the Corolla GR was developed by Akio Toyoda of Gazoo Racing and the Toyota 86 was fully developed by Subaru. Where are they? You never see them anywhere. Millionaires want Ferraris Lamborghinis and Bugattis, not koenigseggs. Bugatti has sold close to 800 cars in less than 20 years, Koenigsegg probably 150 in 30 years. Supercars are all about style and prestige, and Koenigsegg have none of that.

Assuming a 15% loss because it is RWD then it would output ~1353 WHP (on E85). A little less than the regera which makes about ~1500 WHP

@@W1nkey_the Jesko doesn't have a flywheel and the transmission is super efficent. The drivetrain loss would be closer to 5% than 15%. 15% is from an every day road car.

E85 is ~85% ethanol which allows it to have a higher compression ratio and more aggressive timing, technically E85 is equal to around 105 RON

I love the Christian, and his incredible cars. but it makes 1200 horsepower from a 5 l V8 twin turbo V8. It's not uncommon to see that these days unfortunately on normal fuel. The headline 1600hp on E85, unfortunately most of the world does not have access to E85 fuel. a Chiron SS will run 1600 horsepower all day on fuel available across the globe 🤷

Yup, 8.0L Quad Turbo W16 is a beast 🔥 makes 1500 HP (standard chiron) on 98 octane. Fun fact there are actually some E85 tunes for the veyron since it could technically run on E85 but it would lose power on it.

When revving 2800 rpm at 60 mph you could hardly call it a street car even if its street legal in the US. The Jesko is capable of 310+ mph on ordinary highways, its a production car for daily use and not a one purpose drag racer. But I admit that green Mustang is impressive, the engine is a great sounding jewel.
