I think I need to introduce you to my son, he has a Buick Regal with a 5.3 LS with a turbo pushing out 1000 house running on E85. It's not tube and has been 9.76 @150 on street tires with 21 lbs boost.

To much back pressure with the full exhaust. Every time it backfired coming down off a hit that pulsed back into the system bouncing pressure and popping bad welds. Thats why most people put a valve at the collectors to bypass the exhaust and let it breathe.

Bummer about the intercooler but you'll get it figured out. Thats why we test!

As always, I enjoy the variety of your videos! Not sure if you know but this will be the last year y’all will be at Heartland Park. The city of Topeka wants the tracks gone like so many other communities around the country. They want another “big box” warehouse. Exciting right? Everyone wonders why the street racing keeps exploding, keep closing tracks, smart move. Just like KCIR (where I first saw you compete in IHRA) another one gone.

It looks like you're going to have to redesign that intercooler. Apparently it's not flowing enough air and is building to much back pressure causing it to keep blowing out.
