These temples are thousands of year old and Britishers robbed India's 70 to 80% gold before independent... And its only these are left... And Puri Jagarnnath Temple(odisha) that You saw that was just starting picture and inside the temple a huge Ashoka Chakra (was made on rock and lots of hand works on their) their that Chakra( wheel ) that you can see on our Indian flag.... But unfortunately Foreigniers are not allowed and phones cameras also... Not allowed... But you look like indian so may be you can enter...but make sure to bring an indian friend... So he/she can negotiate with them... And not only that we have chilika lake temple and at bhubaneswar indian's largest stadium and bhubaneswar famous zoo and ram temple... And Ocean, Beach And on West Odisha also have lots of Temples and Waterfalls, so many picnic spots, and World longest Hirakud Dam..... And lots of foods and famous sweet Rasagulla and Kaju Katli and Raj bhog...and Veg chop and Masala Dosa and Samosa is so famous Street food But hope when you come you will meet me right 👉 Lots of love from India(Odisha)😊😊😊

The donation is also for the maintainace of the temple but people open heartedly give the money,gold diamond and pearl to the temple by thinking that whatever we have, is from God whatever good thing we receive is the blessings of God. If everything we receive from God so why shouldn't it be given to the temple,which feeds hundred of needy people . Here people believe in good and bad deeds or we can say that whatever we sow we reap.temple is the holy place where person get some peace of mind by controlling our mind body and soul .these are ancient Hindu temple dedicated to the Hindu gods but Buddha was a monk who was worshipped because of his teachings,came after that.he was a hindu monk

Shin Shin, If u r serious about Indian-ness it is not these temples that u need to look into (beyond the looks most of them are commercial places and hence"counted" in currency as seen in that video) but the spirituality this nation offers even in this age.
