This really helps! I have a cathedral haworthia that's stretching a bit with a plant light, and I was debating if I should put it by the window my plant is so picky, I leave it outside to get more light (partial sun ) but becomes stressed. And if I were to leave it as it currently is, it needs more light! it's so stubborn.

Ah tricky! You may have fiddled with this already, but intermediate options could include moving it closer to the grow light and/or increasing the hours per day the light's on. 12-14 hours is generally the right ballpark. Good luck!

I have ants living inside the soil. How to get rid of ants without harming succulents

We recommend re-potting in fresh soil. Use a gritty mix with lots of mineral material as it's both nicely well-draining for your succulents and less hospitable for ants. When the soil is dry, sprinkle diatomaceous earth around the base of the plants. Reapply about every week to dry soil if the ant problem persists. Good luck!
