Most captains and mates work very hard to put clients on fish and it is always nice to show them some appreciation. A successful day on the water demands hours of preparation prior to and after a day on the water.

Duh that's why you pay for a charter. No need for tips. If you want to work for tips... then don't charge a charter fee at all.
