Had a good Feb - Jack 12 batch 2 , Woodford Reserve 2023 batch proof, Old Overholt 10 year, Elijah Craig C922, Jack Daniel BP Rye at 133.4 proof, Larceny C923, Knob 15 for 60 bucks, 4 roses SBBS OESK, and a Woodinville bourbon finished with toasted applewood staves bottle. Pretty good month.

Amazing haul, the whiskey tube community is very cool. Btw, I live in GA and can’t find the allocated 13th Colony stuff any easier and rely on the online options(just as hard to get) as well. I was able to snag a 2023 Shenks last month and stoked to actually see one in wild. Could have got a Rockhill Farms for $350 and/or a OF 1925 for $170 but passed at those prices. Cheers🥃

You need to get him something special. This is beyond being a bourbon enthusiast. Good month for sure. I’m passing on the 1924 just to pricey for what it is. You have quite the collection of friends. But sharing is what it’s all about. I’m pushing the River Roots brand currently. It’s a NDP out of Cleveland Ohio one of the owners is Michael Symon the chef. They have several picks that are just bangers. Sean from echoes just reviewed a hazmat port they did. So if you can find it it’s worth it. Enjoy!!

Great choice and price on the Penelope Light Whiskey. It is a delicious pour. Marzipan, a stick of Butterscotch caramel infused butter, Lemon Oak, and crispy, sweet and sour peach licorice.

I would have passed on most of those same ones and jumped on the ones you missed by seconds. The Peerless Double Oak Rye and Bourbon are both excellent, but the Rye is significantly better. My friend has both of them and I got to try them. Derek and Dave are awesome friends! My friend also got a Henry McKenna Bonded 10 Year, it's good in my opinion but not anything to chase after like people are hyping it up as. That Old Forester 1924 10 Year is a little too steep for me at $115-120. Would still like to try it though. I have no familiarity with Still Austin products, I don't even know if they're available in Minnesota. Penelope American Light Whiskey is one that gets mentioned a lot from my friends. I haven't been able to find it. I'm waiting for the next Valencia run, the new Havana run and the next Tokaji run. That Weller Antique 107 store pick is awesome! Non-chill filtered? Are you kidding me? (Jim Mora - playoffs). And a triple play EH Taylor small batch, single barrel and barrel proof? That's insanity!!! Thanks for sharing more with all of us! I made a friend from the bourbon auction I went to. I was able to get a 375ml ER ($40), 375ml Blanton's ($50) and 2x ER store pick 750ml ($73 each). I know I know, the prices were a little higher but beggars can't be choosers lol. Got some more in the works with people he knows on the bourbon forums. I'm hoping to source a Stagg or Blanton's Straight From The Barrel and open it on my birthday in the fall. Other than that I'm always on the lookout for more ER, love that stuff!

These are apparently the best of those pics so where as most Rare Character pics are sitting around 6 to 8yrs these are 10yr plus. Then there's the exceptional series however most of them have a malt mashbill so not as popular. People are going nuts over the Brook Hill stuff and although I'm hoping you still might help me out as I want it for my personal collection. These bottles are going for upwards of 1200 on secondary per pair depending on the pic.”
