It influenced the debate on the partition of British India and its narrative has been included in the state-sanctioned history textbooks of Pakistan. However, according to Manan Ahmed Asif, the text is in reality original, "not a work of translation".[4] The Chach Nama is a romantic work influenced by the 13th-century history, not a historical text of the 8th-century, states Asif.[4] Some Islamic scholars and modern historians question the credibility of some of the Chach Nama's reports.[5]

There is no evidence of Bapa Rawal when he was born, in which period he was there with whom he faught all that. Its just making claims on one side having no historical proof and other side just reject their baseless claims.

I don't know why this much hatred towards Muslim ruler..most of Indian unemployed people are doing job in gulf countries..and except ghazni everyone sattled in india and contributed to Indian architecture music literature..and you guys are hating them..i accept they were wrong in many aspects ..on the other side English people came looted all wealth from india and exported to uk... exploited indians. and Indian youth is struggling to get job in uk.
