Oh my word that is why I stopped going to church. I found my Heavenly Father more loving and kind and funny and we talk more every day and the miracles he has given me is showing me the real Heavenly Father and oh so much more!!! Love always Kelli

Fine it very interesting that I've been led by God to write Christian songs after my wife of 53 years passed from cancer 81 days ago. To date, 3 were written to serenade her during her fight with cancer, and 2 recent songs - "saved" and "out of the wilderness" - after she passed and I started to finds God's next focus for my life. Don't know if Dennis and my paths are suppose to cross, but I wanted to provide this information just in case God is setting up a possible collaboration. All the best to Dennis. My wife especially loved his "undercover blues".

I'm 79, & have never taken an illigals drug in my life, because my father installed in me 2 tennets, a moral code & a good work ethic. I'm sorry a lot of people can't stay away from drugs, but I found it easy not to smoke, or drink or take M J. I grew up in the 50 & 60's, when all that stuff was around. Maybe it was the fact I got married at 20, my wife 18, that was 57 years ago. We also spent over a decade in the Salvation army as uniform soldiers. I don't claim to be perfect, but I had my mother, father & 4 older sisters who helped me as I grew up. It just wasn't that hard for me to stay away from things that shouldn't be put in your body. That's why at 79, I can still walk every day, & even run some.

Religion is a man made belief system that is very different than Christianity. You can't work your way to heaven..it is a free gift. Quaid gets it and has become a born-again believer in Jesus Christ. All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. ALL of us are sinners and there is not one person good, not one. You want a ticket to heaven? Come to the Lord, just as Dennis did. God took him right where he was, broken.

Boy is Dennis right about blind fun. I remember back in the 1980s in my workplace there were a great many co-workers doing cocaine. They never realized back then that there was a huge downside to doing that drug.

Even though it is taboo...having a baby at 19 straighten my wildlife out a bit because I had to take care of her. I knew I couldn't end up in jail or dead because I had someone I had to make it home too amd take care up

Another 80 year old having a kid because he marries someone his granddaughter's age. An actor friend worked with him on a film and said he was a real a-hole. Maybe he's changed.
