Getting called “fake” or a “printer” is literally the equivalent of being so good at games that you’re accused of hacking

you know you've won when people think your art is a printout.

Some people say that your artwork is "fake" because they are horrible at it and that means they are jealous about you doing it better than them.but I believe that you are telling the truth about your art.

If the haters say that, just say thank you. Because your and ur REAL fans are the ones that know ur drawing is made by YOURSELF and that's ur talent. You should say thank you because they are complimenting ur drawing, because they think that ur drawing is printed. Printers are always perfect, so that means ur drawing looks like it's printed,which means ur drawing is perfect. Take the hater's hate as a compliment so u don't get upset. Don't get mad or upset about haters, they're just gonna hate. The fact that they said "fake" or "printer" is rude I agree. Hope this made you feel a lot better :).

I started when i was 2, i was also told i was "stupid", "bad at drawing" now im 10 and i draw not bad, or good i get told "quit", or sometimes "your good at drawing, please teach me" so i teach them the basics, continue your dreams, and goals, have a great day, or for some people night!.

a while ago i started learning to draw after many, many quits. i’d always produce something you’d expect of a toddler or someone’s dumbed down ms paint drawing, despite thinking i was doing okay until seeing the full thing. i ended up getting that same result again, but for once i was able to just accept the result. it was terrible in many ways, it was unappealing to look at and certain parts like the eyes were barely distinguishable from the face. by accepting this result, i tried again, this time using a reference instead of my imagination. i was almost going to just trace it in hopes of training my muscle memory, but i decided against it and simply copied what i saw. i realised that using the digital tools at my disposal is not cheating, that it’s merely part of the medium. i accepted that line smoothers are part of the process, that scaling sections that don’t quite fit but are drawn well is okay. i allowed myself to take notes from the reference, i allowed myself to have small mistakes that weren’t going to impact the whole drawing. and by the end of it, i shocked myself at how well i could draw when i let go of my fear of “doing it wrong.” every artist has a medium, and there is no right or wrong way to produce art. i finally understood what that meant.
