Any person could potentially ruin your life, regardless if it's someone you've been with for a long time, or if it's a fling. All it takes for someone to ruin your lifevis to say that you've assaulted them, and then you're screwed. No proof needed, as a guy you're guilty until proven innocent in situations like that You've been married to someone for a number of years, just to find out they have been cheating since the beginning and the kid you have might not even be yours. As a guy you have no control in the legal system when it comes to kids. She wants the kid and you don't? You still have to pay child support and are called a deadbeat. You want the kid and she doesn't? Too bad, she can have an abortion without needing to take your opinion into account.
