I attended the same school where Chris and Marty were, it was the College of Santa Fe in New Mexico which unfortunately no longer exists. Great community of artists and teachers. I was a generation before Marty (class of 86) but it’s great to see fellow alumni doing well, passionate in their art.

As a kid growing up in 60s UK, I soon became aware , via Film & TV, of American heroes. During my fifties I decided, I want to play guitar. Then I found two more, super heroes! You guys inspire me & my guitar playing has helped me through a very difficult time in my life. I thank you both for your knowledge, education & most of all my friends from afar.

You guys rock! Chris mentioned software as a soul sucking nightmare - fricking eh! I'm glad I got out of it. Another point that resonated was Marty's experience in college, where he would learn something, practice the bleep out of it, and then perform it. I'm trying to practice as much as life permits, but the performance piece, uh? Maybe I'm not there yet, anyway. It really helps to hear your life story, both of you, it affirms my guitar goals and that there is an effort and education required to get there. Great interview guys.

I like that Marty is playing his new signature Epiphone model, which sounds great with the stock pickups, although "custom buckers" would be a welcome upgrade later? Epiphone used them in their new ES-355 model, an awesome guitar that smokes the Gibson versions. Go Marty - the coolest guitar teacher ever.....cheers!

Hey, I've been following for a while, is there any chance you could teach how to play Chasing Kou (Drowning love) I have been trying to learn it by videos and tabs but being a beginner it is hard without a direct explanation that I get from your videos...
