Yes. I think homosexual thoughts/desires or even gender confusion is an attack the enemy plays on the majority of people, but most won't admit to it! In today's society, it's worsening. The silence and today's alphabet community "protected class status," combined with ignorance of the spiritual world has caused so many to think they were "born that way" (as if they remember their gender ideologies and sexual preference from the moment they were born, before they had any life experiences or influences! I’m 30 years old and in ministry and in the last two to three years, I’ve had those confusing thoughts about my sexuality come into my head. But diving deeper into the Word and sharing those thoughts with my brother and mentor, helped to free me from them. It is also freeing hearing that I’m not alone in that and hearing you all’s testimony of overcoming the same thing.

This was so great to hear. I don't think enough Christians are really recognizing the aggressive attack on grnder identity...especially males. My husband has bern struggling and left our home. He acts very immature and people just dismiss it or overlook the spiritual warfare behind it. I'm still praying and to see this video gives me even more confirmation of what to pray for. I'm going to pray that scripture in 1 Corinthians for my husband...until change comes. Thank you for this!

I love, love, love this! Momma, you are just beautiful to sit and have this crucial conversation with your grown sons, young men you are all amazing to want to do this with your Momma and share with the world. God bless you all. Very inspirational. Men are losing their masculinity and the role God intended for them because the diabolic is so busy working on them every day and everywhere they go! In television, radio, workplaces, Pornography, infidelity, confusion of sexuality, it's overwhelming. Men don't let Satan take pleasure on your mind and soul! Cover yourselves in the Precious Blood of Jesus, He is waiting for you to come to Him. Jesus is your saving grace.

For a mom of three boys, this conversation is so helpful. They are still 10,7 and 6 but I take our responsibility seriously. They are my ministry. Not perfection but grace, authenticity and intentionality. Gods word is truth and it’s the foundation of our family.

This is a conversation that is so long overdue. I think alot of young people hear about all these new ideas and they think, "Oh, is that who I am?" But as young people they are still growing and forming, and going thru awkward years. Everyone wants to belong and so they seek where they can feel like they belong and fit. And the enemy uses that moment as quick as he can. That's why parents cannot just ignore and hope their kids never face it. They've got to establish good communication early and then talk about any and everything. Find out what your kids are learning about, even when it's uncomfortable, because it is being talked about amongst their friends. Thank you for opening the convo up!!❤

I love that you pointed out that masculinuty is about Christlike love and leadership. Christ should be our definition of the perfect man. Having said that, it's not as easy for me to not pay attention to the macho image of manhood. Nature teaches (1 Cor. 11:14) certain things, and for me, a lot of feminine things come easily, whereas doing masculine things almost feels suffocating (humanly speaking). Sometimes, I confess, it's more of a matter of survival and blending in that motivates me to lower my voice and restrict my natural mannerisms in public. (I have been ridiculed by children and others.) I wish the world wasn't like this, and that I had that ease that other men had with their own bodies.

It's beautiful to watch such open-hearted connection between a mother and her sons. I've always had a similar relationship with my mum too. When I came out she embraced me to the best she could. She is a devoted Christian and it was tough for her for the first couple of years. However, rather than changing me she made loving me unconditionally her life lesson. I am ever so grateful to her for showing me God's love in action.

This is so interesting to hear from adult children. My oldest son is 12 and half years old right now and he is starting to feel and experience so many normal but confusing things... He so often feels like he is a bad person or doing something wrong. At times he makes a wrong choice but over all he is doing so well considering what's being thrown at him and he cares so much about doing the right thing.. I'm so thankful he talks to me the way he does, I encourage him to talk to his dad but they just don't communicate as well... I'm so afraid that I'm going to say or do the wrong thing because I so badly want him to make it I to adult hood without the struggles and addiction so many men face now a days.

Don’t underestimate the importance of shoulder to shoulder communication! The way a young man talks to his mom will be different than the way he talks to his Dad. That is okay if there is less emotion and little eye contact. Some of the best conversations I had with people were on a long car ride or while doing another activity. Encourage your hubby to take your son fishing, camping, or any other activity. It will make him more comfortable with his Dad and will encourage deeper conversations.
