This man may exist in the wild. But we can't be sure, only grainy photos have been taken
@vnleao3 ай бұрын
These men usually only exist at the expense of other women, and either don’t exist in the wild (in a commitment,) got re-released after ruining a relationship and will come with lots of baggage around pride for having “seen the light,” or got “raised right” and usually has an unhealthy relationship with his mother on some level while still internalizing misogynist ideologies from his father while mistakeningly assuming he “knows better” so he’s subconsciously even more resistant to the idea of needing to change unless it’s HIS idea. Reading “The Creation of Patriarchy” by Gerda Lerner was painful but freeing, helped me make peace with this reality by changing my relationship to the inherent disappointment that comes with it.

This! This right here! Everything you just said! I LOVE it. The girl is totally me. When my husband took the kids out for me to relax, I wouldn’t relax, I would do chores because I felt guilty if I didn’t do something productive while he was gone. In stead of napping because I had a baby under a year old who wakes 2-3 times a night, I would sweep and mop, do dishes and maybe take a shower. Then my husband would get home and be confused why I didn’t nap or relax. Unfortunately we’re divorcing, he shot and killed my dog and I learned he’s a covert narcissist and he took the kids out not because he loved me, but because he wanted something out of it and for the benefit of playing the good husband in front of his friends and family. He took the kids out to play only once. In 11 years. He wouldn’t even watch the kids for me so I could shower. I was expected to do everything by myself with 6 kids under the age of 9.

@@BleachDemon69 I don’t think you understand what people mean by service in this context. People often use terms like “acts of service” to describe just doing something to help someone, or in reference to one of the 5 love languages that one guy who’s name I don’t know came up with. They are just using it to describe husbands doing something nice and helpful for them, and how that helps them feel more loved. Service goes both ways and happens in all sorts of contexts, not just romantic relationships. Growing up at home, I would sometimes decide to serve my mother by giving her a shoulder massage, since she has a lot of tension there that worsens my headaches. It’s a way of showing care for her. Or a time where my older brother was feeling really sick and I wanted to help out so I was going around getting a cup of water and other stuff for him. That was me serving him. I've been reading Secure Love WITH my partner. Let's just say it has opened up our minds in how we respond and act to certain things our partner does or even to the world. We have understood why it is we do what we do. It has brought a lot more compassion into our relationship. Thank God for that book. Thank God for this channel. 🙏🏻 😅 we can't afford therapy so reading these books together has created such a bonding experience 💖 I finally understand my partner better.

It's not a one day out of the blue that this works. I fell for this maybe once after that I noticed he only dis nice things because he EXPECTED sexy time. Do these things just because you want to help, never expect a return on "your investment". Women know when your playing a game with them, be genuine in your want to just make their life easier several times a month. Don't expect this every time you do chores and take her out. If you do this enough not expecting anything, you WILL eventually get a return on your investment. Genuine behavior is richly rewarded ❤

@@Kholoured wow he might get some, while past flings didnt have do shit. honey work yourself to death you might get something out of it once a year. and government is confused why men are retreating from relationships and CDC is confused why mens life expectancy is 60 now. damn if men do damn if they dont. women seem to ignore men are physical creatures its how we show our love, plenty of stories and every man will tell you the same, belay sex for to long he'll see it as the norm and no longer find you attractive or just not bothered by lack of sex as it slowly turns into a roommate situation. men who dont act like jimmy in terms average joes had their mothers and other females offer some kind reward only to belay it and so we learn when woman offers rewards its all BS. plus if we're doing a task that has a high risk we need equal or higher reward as we are logical creatures reward must meet the risk at the very least, like i wont take a bullet for random woman, not my woman so the risk to my life isnt worth the it. now if its a lover i would take a bullet as she is a partner and future mother to our kids..

Shouldn't she feel attracted to you regardless of whether or not you did her part of the chores as well? 😅 I completely understand the idea that if you are stressed due to housework, you won't feel like having sex as much as if you were not stressed. But still, I feel like if your partner stops seeing you as attractive and stops seeking sex, there is something wrong with your relationship other than "I'm stressed and need to take a day off to relax".

I don’t know if she “should” be with you regardless but if she’s still with you and you are only contributing to the household with the chores you consider exclusively “yours”, then things are working out for you, maybe even the two of you.
