When SP Aftab Ahmad was working on a UN mission for Punjab Police in East Timor as a police officer. He solved a mystery case between a mother and a son. No other police officer was able to resolve that case in a year.
When this case was presented in a meeting, SP Aftab Ahmad voluntarily asked to take over this investigation. He resolved this mystery case and provided all the details of the case that were missing.
It was a classic investigative and mysterious case and he resolved the case after digging deep in family matters. Check out the complete story narrated by SP Aftab Ahmad himself in this video.

It is very easy to tell stories at social media...I personally had to meet him in connection with a case of theft at my home...but his response was highly arrogant which does not suit with a public servant....highly condemnable.....

This is all circumstantial and would not hold in any court except for perhaps “Kangaroo court” like the ones in Pakistan. The officer has shown his “Punjab police” tactic of blaming and labeling someone without concrete evidence. The concept of “ innocent until PROVEN guilty” is perhaps never heard by this personality.

This Punjab police officer was deputed to East Timor between October of 1999 through May of 2002 he was told about blood stained clothes being washed at home and it never crossed his mind to get hold of those clothes and send for DNA testing. Wow mind boggling

Hard to believe that a police officer was ignorant of that fact. That's investigation 101. Furthermore, it was not just one police officer Aftab involved in this investigation, but a complete panel of investigators and lawyers. It would really not make sense that this point wasn't raised by any of the staff members.

SP Aftab sahaab, circumstantial scenarios can be built around this case though in the court of law it was not sufficient to prosecute anyone. Question 1: Before the son died did anyone questioned about his whereabouts? I mean that’s investigation 101 Question 2: In any murder scene forensic of the crime scene should be secured right away. I am assuming did your formal questioning also looked into the forensic collected at the crime scene. The suspect washed his clothes on his own first time in his life (very important point) though there might be an innocent explanation for that as well (not any solid proof). In regards to motive there was a possibility that 5 to 7 lakh might initiated the thought process in the mind of the elder brother though still circumstantial scenario. Conclusion: In any murder investigation, the earliest you start and secure the crime scene, the better it is to get solid results. His suicide is important though can be of multiple reasons, Allah swt knows the best.
