You should try growing figs. They're easy to root from cuttings or just get a fig tree already potted up and when it grows, you can take your own cuttings and start new plants to keep or sell.

For any stone fruit, like cherry, you have to crack the outer shell and take it off with wire cutters, etc, and the seed is on the inside which you can then sprout. Look up growing cherries from seed.

I usually soak seeds for 3 days before trying to germinate them
