Took me quite a while to figure out that it is the wallpaper that drags my attention and the reason for that is that I created it. Being a 1st timer has its upsides. Once people know that you dont know the ropes or what to say of what to do. They are more likely go give you a pass if you mess up. But if you are putting up a front and then you mess up, You will get checked because they will think you did it on purpose.

Playing cards is trap. Specially when you are new there. You can get into debt faster than you think. You never know how much somebody practices their palming, switching, card stealing etc etc. If you meet some jailhouse Houdini who runs some business there you are rekt in seconds. Better advice. Never play games there with people you do not know extremely well.

My Dad has copd. It's hard to see him like that. You go downhill fast. I don't know how much time he has. You still look young. But I can see how smoking effects people even in the early stages. I know you probably don't want to hear it. But your work ethic is so strong. I think if you wanted to quit you could do it pretty easily.

(Reposting this) My first [and hopefully only] time in jail I was 17 and didn't do a very good job at not looking like it was my first time. For those of you who are unaware which it seems a lot of people are, under Michigan law a person is considered an adult for purposes of the criminal law at age 17. When I got booked into the block, my stupid ass said right in the day room, "If anyone wants to start problems I'll fight, I don't care if I win or get fucked up." That was followed by the few people awake in the pod laughing their asses off at me! I was in a minimum security pod in a small town, everybody was chill and were actually really nice but I was fucking stupid! It felt like more like a frat house than jail, I saw one fight but it was mostly just a group of people addicted to drugs joking around all day. Only spent 10 days locked up then went to a rehab. It's funny now that I was so stupid back then but fuck jail, glad I grew up and got my shit together cuz I spent most of my teens on probation and in juvenile, my friends are still in and outta jail in their 30's, it's a waste of life...

Most of the prisons Ive been in here in Missouri keep incoming inmates in R&O for a few weeks. Population pays close attention to the, " First Timers" and many hussles are tried on the niave. They try to get them in debt, rob them, turn them ouf, etc. The info you provide in your videos is real and can save those wise and humble enough to pay attention a lor of headaches!. Love and Respect from Missouri bro!

My first time was Norfolk City Jail. I was put in a bull pen (took a week before classification). It was all bloods but only one was real. He was the #1 alpha. I was dope sick so I gave him all my trays while sick. After that I gravitated to him and built some mutual respect. I didnt hide that I was a n00b. Overall I was real surprised how helpful everyone was. The mentality was it's all of us vs. The jail.

So far I know people always try to acquire “pen pals” for a source of commissary. What I am interested in is support for mental state, not necessary monetary things.
