Exactly. Commercial vans are loud as hell and difficult to make comfortable. Big trucks like ram 2500 are the way to go.

​@@bsd7342I have a 2003 dodge ram starting to get pretty beat up. And well am looking for something new.. that's of course in leather OEM. Seen a comment say from 2015 or so to 2017. Seats are possible. And since I have a quad cab. Not a normal cab. It's a bit harder.. that have your seats go up down back and lower it or go higher. With bottons.. seen a video about the f 150 sport in rapid red..and man.. story he told wish I could get those seats into the ram.. basically long traffic for hrs.. took a nap long drive hrs on end.. came to a complete stop took the opportunity and just went to sleep.. reclined his seat and knocked out.. once he woke up no cars anywhere in site... And that's the type of sleep I want....

If you’re going from CA to Utah and taking the I-15 you can stop at the Virgin Gorge Casino for about $38/night. Clean, comfortable, cheap drinks and slots, and if you get one of the rooms in the back you can see your truck from your hotel room.

Go with a Pittman air mattress. Trust me. I sleep alot in the back seat of my truck and it's a comfortable mattress.

LOL, I shower at truck stops, but some times I need to do a really good cleaning and hang a few air fresheners to get the leather smell back.

I can't say for this truck but my old 99 superduty crew cab I can comfortably lay all the way across the bench with a couples inches extra of room and I'm 6ft tall

The fans are just to have air movement when the weather is nice. When it’s hot or cold outside (because it’s a diesel) I leaver running and keep the ac/heat on. I do keep a O2/carbon monoxide censer in the cab. Thanks for watching.

It has a 6 foot bed. It is high, but needed for what I use it for and for where I lived when I bought it. At the time, the Sierra Nevada mountian range was my play ground.

1. My truck is a 2500 diesel which means that it can idle all day or night running the heater or a/c while using very little fuel. 2. I stay at truck stops where I can shower, eat and use the facilities. I have driven from the east coast to the west coast many times and to multiple places in between. Most of my trips I just want to get from a to b as fast and as cheaply as I can. My truck allows me to do that.

You obviously have never done a road trip. Truck stops have restrooms, most have showers, and they have coffee ready in the morning. In some areas I prefer to stay in my truck and avoid all of the hotel noise and issues like bed bugs. You can park as close or as far from people as you like. Ive never needed a heater since I bring a quality sleeping bag. I like having a fan, so I have a battery powered one with rechargeable batteries. Lots of phone apps give you access to campsites that allow truck or tent camping.

@@---tx9xx gas use alot of fuel to idle. Diesel uses mostly air and very little diesel to idle.

I've been rocking them for 4yrs. They are a little beat up (I could have taken better care) but they still do a good job. My dash looks brand new. Would buy again.
