Buying a U.S. wheel and having it shipped here would’ve been a lot more efficient the price premium would’ve been worth it. Cool to DIY though!

Sad part is you can show this mod to a person and (without watching the video) he will think you just unscrewed some bolts and changed the steering wheel

You could just replace the Fiat logo by a Abarth one on the steering wheel but you would made us laugh So the work is done

@@Runaeh Hey man,curious since I was looking for facelift G6 E11s,most here come with the 4ZZ but afaik everything before 2005 burns quite a bit of oil,what's your experience with the ZZ engine?

It's a blast! Drives exactly the same as my old hatchback, except with a few extra horses. Currently sitting on lowered suspension and light weight wheels with Toyo Proxes tires, which makes the driving experience a million times better. Drives like a modded Corolla, not fast but incredibly fun 😎

Thanks - I'm about to do the same mod. Fortunately I have the US Abarth wheel so it should go smoother. I made one attempt at releasing the airbag and gave up before seeing this video. Now that I see how the retaining clips work hopefully I can get it done.
