Ah, hypixel, the place where your username could be literally anything (racist, sexist, etc.) and you get a temp ban until you remove it, but use a skin with a blushing anime girl and bye bye for a week! its not limited to 48 chunks of render distance, it changes depending on your pc specs because my friends are capped at 32 and im capped at 64.

A little late to the party, but i would like to mention it usually isnt just a different staff member giving a different punishment, and it is usually if the user has been banned in the past for literally anything else. Example : If someone gets banned for cheating, and then gets banned again their ban would be longer than someone who got banned for the same thing but was never banned for cheating before.
