Check your history well. Osei Tutu met Okonfo Anokye at Akwamu while he was in prison at Akwamufie. Otumfuo Ansa Sasraku gave Okonfo Anokye and about 300 guards to protect him from Akwamu to Kwaaman. The group who came with Osei Tutu are descendants of Asafo and Adum, and this is the reason why Asafohene is called Akwamuhene

Hmm..... please please seriously review the methodology of gathering information. Like acknowledge your sources so that the information can be independently verified. The program is excellent though. Wish other people can document their history too.

Pls get your facts right, you seem to be twisting the Asante history. 1st, Adinkra was the chief of Gyaaman kingdom, it was captured quite later in history when the Gyaaman chief made for himself a type of sikadwa. Besides the Dormaa were at Suntreso .................. 2nd Komfo Anokye supposedly came along with Osei Tutu as part of the entourage from Akwamu that later became the origin of the Akwamu fekuo ...............

This story is not wholly trueblue. Okomfo Anokye was not at Denkyira rather was captive at Akwamu and at the the time Osei Tutu has run to Akwamu as refugee. But when the uncle Obiri Yeboa died the Akwamus gave one thousand soldiers who are now the Adum people. But Osei Tutu asked Ɔkomfo Anokye to accompany him to asante. The name Tutu came from Akwamu one of the gods or the strongest gods was name after osei.

I disagree with this.The siver pans were filled with stones instead of gold dust.One of the Leading messengers was not Killed but lost his ears and added to the stones.That is the history.

People should be careful explaining ancient names like Asante and Enfante because there are traces of it in ancient history of around 3000 bc. The root being "Kyerema- sante" Even native Fantis called it "Osuante" which has special meaning having nothing to do with war. There was also a pre- Israelite territory in Northern Israel called Mansuate. When this name is prefixed with kyere- Ma-nsuate. What about the Ashanti history that , they came from a hole in the earth at Asantemanso their fist home. Does Asante- manso have any relationship with Israelis Mansu- ate? Within the same territory was Abelmaim that is the "city of Abel" thus linking Mansu ate to the origin of Adamu, the man whose name suggests he came out of the earth .In Ashanti history a hole in the earth is "adamua" from which they came from at Manso- Asante in Ghana and Adam from a hole in the earth at Mansuate in Israel? Aren't there many similarities and coincidences in the two stories ?

With all due respect, any and all claims of Asante and or Akan ancestry to Israel are widely discredited by scholars. The revisionist history must stop. Asante has a rich enough heritage and does not need Jewish ancestry to validate it. CHEERS!!
