This movie is pretty bias since it stereo types the Japanese army for being weak and puts the Chinese in more priory for having a better army. In real life the Japanese army was way more powerful than the Chinese since it crushed those forces into pieces.

Bruh these movies get me 😂 I love how any Chinese movie that has to do with any War like overly dramatizes the Chinese military and somehow China just suddenly becomes this behemoth that the Japanese have no chance of getting through. These film creators actually I should say the Chinese government has absolutely no idea or they do when they simply dramatize it and make themselves look great so the civilians well believe whatever they tell them but anyway they expressed the Japanese military as weak and puny which is funny considering Japan was whooping China's ass almost the entire time during World War II.

I’m Chinese Canadian and even I find this funny. My ancestors suffered many ills fighting Japan. We had under equipment, and low on supplies. We put up a good resistance but the Japanese are not underestimated unlike the film.

@@bruhtnt4258 I agree the Chinese were smart they Japanese may have held the cities and they didn’t hold that much in the cities they were underground Chinese units all over the place but in the outskirts Japanese military didn’t have a chance that was such a strong guerrilla movement in China tied up Japanese troops and some of the areas so badly that in other areas where they were needed battles were lost but one great battle that I like the best was when Japanese tried to take this huge area and the Chinese until the Japanese got right in the center of a flood control area and blew up the dam drown thousands of Chinese troops put an end to the Japanese advance don’t underestimate the Chinese forces what do they are in Taiwan and China they are some of the best trained units you’ll ever come up against next to the rock troops in South Korea If I was North Korean forces of concern I’m sorry I wouldn’t take really much to beat them
