Formidable! I love Pillivuyt tablewares. They are so wonderful. My dishes and cups are all Pillivuyt.

Are the tableware tested for heavy metals? I contacted the manufacturer twice but no response. Fishy.

I purchased many Pillivuyt tableware in the Plisse design. These are absolutely wonderful quality and attention to detail. I have had many compliments about these. The plates, soup plates, cups, saucers. bread plates and salad plates are heavy weight, solid and just perfect for everyday use. I do not wash these beautiful tableware in the dishwasher even though Pillivuyt says they are OK with that. I have found that the dishwasher is very hard on whatever is washed in it due to the extremely caustic soap and boosted heat needed to make the dishes clean. Unfortunately, I learned the hard way and ruined some of my items (etching, galvanic corrosion, and pitting) there so now strictly hand wash many of the items I really care about. Handwashing keeps these dinnerware look like brand new for many years.
